To this end the Holy Spirit will be teaching us how as sons of God, we can upturn darkness and install light. So, we are going to start by looking at Luke chapter 11, we will start our observation from there, which will be our text and we will read a lot of verses but I will start from verse 1 to 13, then we will read other patches of that chapter later, other verses in it. Now it came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.”² So He said to them, “When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. ³ Give us day by day our daily bread.
⁴ And forgive us our sins, For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us.
And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one.” ⁵ And He said to them, “Which of you shall have a friend, and go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves; ⁶ for a friend of mine has come to me on his journey, and I have nothing to set before him’; ⁷ and he will answer from within and say, ‘Do not trouble me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give to you’? ⁸ I say to you, though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as many as he needs. ⁹ “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. ¹⁰ For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. ¹¹ If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? ¹² Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? ¹³ If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

Luke 11: 1-13

 

May the Lord bless the reading of his word. Now, kingdom focused prayers- now this message is not for babes but for sons. If you are a child of God, it is fantastic that you are a child of God because it is an important step into sonship but the desire of God is that you do not remain as a child, that you grow up and become a son of God. Imagine if you have a child, that all the child keeps doing for over 15 years is ‘Mummy, give me food to eat, mummy, give me food to eat, mummy give me food to eat’. You will give that child food to eat, but at a point; at one year, you are excited doing it, at two years old, you are excited giving that child food to eat, at three years old, you are excited giving that child food to eat. When that child becomes 14 or 15 and the child keeps coming, ‘mummy, give me food to eat or daddy give me food to eat’, your excitement would dwindle because you will expect that the request of that child would have matured.

 

You expect that the request of that child should have changed by reason of maturity. How many of us when were growing up, still think the same way we used to think. When you were five, you were thinking the same way. When you were ten, you were thinking the same way. Fifteen, you were thinking the same way, it’s an anomaly. It’s not correct because as you mature, your sense of reasoning, your priorities mature with you. The same thing is our experience in the kingdom, as you mature in the kingdom, your priorities must start changing. So if your priorities don’t change, then there is a problem with your growth, there is a problem with your maturity.

 

Jesus made a statement, he said, don’t be anxious, don’t be perplexed, don’t be worried about what to eat, what to wear, He said, after these things do the Gentiles seek, who are the Gentiles? Those that don’t have God in their memory, you can’t even call them babes, those that haven’t even been born. Those are their priorities, those are the things they pursue and Jesus was saying that, that should not become your priority. As a child of God, as a son of God, God expects your priority to be different. God expects your request to be different.

 

Now, Sir, if you are speaking to a child, there are certain things that you expect in that conversation, you are talking to a  child, the child will be talking about the school he or she goes to, the class, he or she is in, the name of his or her father or mother, the name of his teacher because those are the priorities of that child but when you are talking to a man, a grown up man, a man of 30 something years old and you are having a conversation and that man is telling you, my name is ‘so  so so and so’, the name of my wife is ‘so so so and so’ at your first conversation. Not that you asked, the person is just telling you, won’t you be held back a little,? why is this man talking like this? I didn’t even ask him because you expect by the reason of his maturity to be having deeper conversations not elementary conversations. The same way God is expecting us to be having conversations with him that are deeper than the things that many of us are conversing with God about because we said prayer is communication with God. You are speaking to God and God is speaking right back at you but see, what God will say to you is dependent on what conversation you are having with Him. God is not a talkative. God is an intentional person.

 

That’s why Jesus was saying to that woman, He said, we don’t give what belongs to sons, to children, we don’t give it to dogs because at the dog category, you can’t appreciate the food on the table. So, God does not have table conversations with category of people called dogs. You must be a son who is qualified to be on the table for God to have table conversations with you and that is why it is important that we know, that when God is talking to a son, God is kingdom focused. God is inheritance focused. Conversations that sons have with God are not babyish conversations, they are not conversations that ‘God I have woken up this morning, so what will I eat? Ah! See my wardrobe now, I want to change it, what will I even wear? I feel like wearing a yellow top’. Let me gist you  a little bit.

 

When I became born again and I rededicated my life to Christ, there was no conversation  that the Holy Spirit didn’t have with me because see, it’s a journey, when you become born again, you are like a new born baby in the hand of God and the thing that God deals with first is your mind, He wants to renew your mind, change your old identity, bring you in alignment with who you are in Him. So, He would make sure your esteem is healthy. So if you think you are ugly, the Holy Spirit will start talking to you about the fact that see, you are beautiful, in fact, you are the best. Do you know you are fearfully and wonderfully made. But Sir, is the Holy Spirit having that kind of conversation with you now? Because you are past that.

 

But some of us are now saying, why is the Holy Spirit not telling me about things? The question we should ask ourselves is, what are the conversation we are having with him? I don’t want to go too forward into the message but I want us to know this, when Jesus was teaching his disciple show to pray, they made a comparison, they said Jesus teach us how to pray like John taught his disciples, did Jesus argue with them? And said, how can you be comparing yourselves with John’s disciples? Don’t you know you are my disciples? You are a higher class of people? Did Jesus say that? Did he ever argue that question? Rather he gave them an answer, He said when you pray, you my disciples, you that are followers of Jesus Christ, when you pray, say, this is the conversation you should be having with God, this is the kind of dialogue that should be taking place between you and God, Our Father in heaven, Halloweth with your name.

 

Now what Jesus did is, He gave us talking points and we are going to zero in on one of those talking points this morning, Jesus gave us talking points that see, as disciples of Jesus Christ, as those that will disciple nations, as those that God has given the mandate and the authority to go into all the world and make disciple of all nations, this is the kind of conversation you should be having. Talking point number one, Our Father in heaven, Halloweth be your name. Make sure you are never disconnected from God. Anything that will disconnect you from God is disconnecting you from your heritage. Anything that disconnects you from God is disconnecting you from your identity. If you don’t connect with God, no other thing can follow it so your connection with God is the number one on the list. So, you must make sure on a daily basis when you are conversing, you are sure, you know beyond any reasonable doubt that you are connected to the Father.

 

Talking point number two, He said your kingdom come, your will be done. After you have connected with Him, make sure that you are kingdom focused. Make sure that your focus is on the kingdom. Don’t ask the Father anything if your focus is not on the kingdom. The Father is not interested in sons that are not interested in his kingdom. The Father is not interested in sons that are not interested in his business because the kingdom is the business of the Father so if you call yourself a son of the Father, then you must be interested in his business because when I give to you, I give to you of the fullness of my kingdom. A king does not give what is not within his jurisdiction. When you approach a king, he can’t give you anything if you insult his kingdom. Every king’s glory is tied to his kingdom, every king’s honour is tied to his kingdom. So, if you will seek the king, you must seek his kingdom. That’s why Matthew chapter 6 verse 33, it says, Seek first the kingdom of God, this is the priority, sons seek first.

 

That’s why after connecting with God as your father, it is not a time to be talking about frivolities. No wonder Jesus said, you are thinking about what to eat, what to wear, is your Father not aware that you have needs of those things? Why are you chasing shadows and leaving the real thing? He said seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, He said every other thing, every other of your desires, your ambitions, your life goals, they will start pursuing you, they will be an added advantage. Seek first!

 

How many of us remember the story of Mordecai? Mordecai was the Uncle of Esther. Something happened in the kingdom of King Ahasuerus and at that time, the king had scribes that document every good deed in the kingdom. You suddenly shout King Ahasuerus may you live forever very early at 5am, they will document it. One man called Joshua shouted in the middle of the night when everybody was sleeping, that may King Ahasuerus live forever, they documented it. Now two of the servants of this king were plotting on how to harm the king and the plot was discovered by Mordecai and he reported it. Now, when he reported it, it was documented but nothing was done for him. Now, when God was going to favour Mordecai so we understand how kingdom works, Mordecai did not seek his own interest, he didn’t ask the king for money, He didn’t ask him for a house, he asked him for nothing. He just did what was in the interest of the kingdom and the king. And there was a day that the Bible says that the king could not sleep and he said this book that we use to document all these good deeds, bring it let me go through it. And he went through it and he said Oh! So, people have been doing things in the interest of the kingdom, wow! Fantastic! This particular person, I am interested, we must do something for him and that’s how God thinks.

 

Never think you are doing anything in the interest of God’s kingdom and it goes in vain, No! God is not unmindful of your labour of love, the one you have to him and to his house. He is not unmindful. When they opened the record and Mordecai’s case was brought up, He said you know what, Let’s honour this man, let’s bless him, let’s do something tangible for him and that’s how Mordecai that has always been at the king’s gate became a person that would enter the palace and start being in charge of affairs and this is what some sons don’t understand. If God says in my kingdom, what I want you to do in my kingdom is to be fetching water, do it faithfully. In fact,  talk to God but don’t do it in ignorance, do it being aware that see at this my duty post, anything going on in the kingdom, I must be aware of it. And that’s why I said this message is not for children, it’s for sons.

 

 God wants to awaken us to the consciousness of who we are. We need to start upturning darkness and installing light of God in different places and in different areas based on the understanding that God wants to share with us because until we stop being selfish, until we stop looking at ourselves and our needs, we cannot focus on the kingdom. How many hours do you use in praying for yourself in a day? Ask yourself. And what do you ask, you want a car, you want a house, you want to marry, you want to have children, you want to do, I am not saying those things are bad, make your request known to God but if you have matured to become a son, as a child, God permits you to make requests as a child because Apostle Paul said, when I was  a child, I thought as a child, I did childish things, he said but I come of age, I have put away, and that’s the instruction of God this morning, put away childish things because if you can start seeking first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, every other thing shall be added.

 

Until we start doing that, he said talking point number two, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, kingdom focus! Yesterday in the evening Bible school, the Holy Spirit was teaching us about spiritual perception. Spiritual perception is for sons, children don’t perceive because children, they are playful, they get easily distracted, their attention span is low. If you want to punish a child, ask a child to sit down for 3 hours in one place, she will be looking like this, he will be looking like this, he will be shaking his leg, they want to stand up, they want to run but for an adult, it is a blessing, sit down? ‘ah, thank you very much.’ That’s for matured adults oh, not all oh! Because you have given them opportunity to rest, to focus, to be able to start thinking about things ahead, that’s what happens to sons.

 

And that’s what God is saying, be kingdom focused. Start perceiving what I want to do in the kingdom, the next agenda in the kingdom of God. Let your kingdom come, your will be done on earth. Where you have put me, as it is in heaven. Just as your will is done and established in heaven, let it also be done on the earth, that’s what sons do. Is there darkness in heaven? When we were reading Revelations, we saw that there was a place that there is darkness? In fact the Bible says that when we go and be with him, that we don’t need the sun or the moon, he said his light, he Himself will be our everlasting light. The light of His presence, the sun cannot match it. So if his light, let’s even start from there, if his light is so radiant in heaven, then we can pray that Lord, the way your light is so radiant in heaven, let it be on the earth, do you know we can pray that prayer until Jesus comes but how many of us are praying it?

 

How much darkness is on the earth? In every country? In every local government? In every state? In every province? Darkness is gradually taking over and we have sons of the kingdom, what is our prayer? We are praying for bread, we are praying for clothes, we are praying for milk. We are praying for cars, we are praying for things that don’t have eternal relevance, that have no relevance to the kingdom of God. Are they not the things we are praying for? How many of us are praying kingdom focused prayers? Where you will abandon everything? How many of us have fasted for kingdom agenda? How many of us have taken out time and say three days, I am fasting for this state, I am fasting for this local government, I am fasting for this country. How many of us?

 

 But we can do three days’ fasting and prayer for a car. We can do seven days fasting and prayer for a house, that God let me fast for seven days, if I can just buy a land, the very thing that God can put in the heart of somebody overnight. Do you know what Mordecai got overnight? Because there was one foolish man that thought the blessing was for him so he started listing, he said for such a person that the king is happy with, Ah! Let us give him a horse, let us give him this. In fact, let them parade him. You are fasting and praying for Instagram followers. You are fasting and praying for Facebook friends, the very thing that if God does one miracle through your hand , in fact facebook will say see, this person has exceeded friendship limit and turn you to a fan page. So what are we doing?

 

Sons of God, what are we doing? Are we upturning darkness on a  daily basis in our prayers or we are asking for mundane things, are we seeking first the kingdom of God and his righteousness or we are seeking for bread, what are we praying for? What is our desire? What are we asking? What are we seeking? What doors are we knocking? I want to quickly move into the stages of prayers that God honours as sons. Before we go into that, I want to read this Scripture for us and it said in that Luke chapter 11, I want to read verse 9 to verse10 again, And He said,

 

“So I say to you, now, he told the story of a friend that came at midnight and asked from this friend something. And it says, his friend gave excuses, you know I am sleeping, I am busy, but he said because of his persistence, he kept asking. He said, He will give him, not just because he is his friend. That’s why the Bible says, God is not a respecter of persons, God does not answer the prayer of Pastor Adeboye and leave your own because Pastor Adeboye is a nice person and you, you are not nice or he is more handsome than you are or he is more older than you, No! God gives priority to kingdom focused prayers so you will ask, what is he praying, what is he asking for that you are not asking for, what is he seeking for that you are not seeking for, what doors is he knocking on or doors that he is knocking persistently and you, you are not knocking. God is not a respecter of persons. God is interested for his sons to be interested in his business.

 

No wonder the Father of the prodigal son said to his elder son, He said, you’ve been working with me, you have been laboring in this kingdom. You now said I did not kill one kid for you, everything I have is yours. You have been investing in this kingdom, you have access to all things, you would have just demanded. The Lord said silver are mine. Gold are mine. The cattle upon a thousand hills are mine so if you belong to the Father, you are not a bastard, you lay demand on things like houses and cars and all those things. You lay demand but when you start asking, heaven is looking down, what is that son of man crying about? Do you know how many times heaven have been disappointed over the cry of some people, 12 midnight when everybody is sleeping, God! You see some people crying violent cries. God, are you looking at me like this? Give me five thousand naira. Some people are crying like that because of five thousand, not five thousand souls. Five thousand naira? Five thousand paper? Five pieces of paper? That some people can even ‘dash’ other people without blinking twice.

 

Kingdom focused prayers! How many of us are praying for souls? How many of us are praying for nations? How many of us are praying that the light of God consumes and dispels every darkness in our neighbourhood? How many of us are crying out for those little children that are being initiated on a daily basis? That are being sold out to drugs, all those small little girls, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen that have being sold into slavery and prostitution? How many of us are crying for the destinies of our young people that the devil is gradually eroding with music? How many of us are crying to God over souls? How many?

 

And we walk out boldly with our bogus Bibles and say we ware sons of God. How are we upturning darkness? The evidence of your sonship is how much darkness you are able to upturn and how much light you are able to install. Don’t tell me you are a son of God if you are not carrying the attribute of God. Don’t tell me you are a son of God if you are not doing what God is doing. Don’t tell me you are the son of God if what the will of the Father is in heaven, you are not establishing it on the earth through your hands. Your sonship needs to be reviewed. You know there are some people that will have citizenship of another country and they say their citizenship is under review because they have not behaved like a citizen. Some of us, our sonship are under review, heaven is reviewing our sonship, are we sure we should call him a son or he is still a child? Are you sure this one should have access to deep things and you are praying ‘God, give me revelation’. Ah! Revelation of deep things’. What will you do with the revelation when God gives you? Because your prayer shows God your heart.

 

There are some people that their heart is so opened towards God and God knows because  of their heart, they need revelation but some people’s heart are so empty, there is no God in them, they say it with their mouths that ‘Eh! Oh! How I love God, eh! How I am passionate about God. Eh! How my life is sold out to God’ but in your heart, your heart is not sold out, its only your mouth that is sold out. Your heart is not. How much darkness are you upturning? How much light are you installing? How much of God are you carrying around? How much of God are you installing in places, in the lives of young people, in the lives of old people, how are you making people know that Jesus is Lord? How is your life showing it forth but rather you want to ride the latest car, live in the biggest house and your children go to the best schools? Is that what life is about?

 

 Jesus said, at the judgment throne on the last day, He said on the last day, some will be to his right, and another category to his left. He said those to his right, He will say to them, well done and welcome, good and faithful servant. When I was hungry, you fed me, when I was naked, you clothed me, when I was in prison, you visited me. And they will say ‘Jesus when were you hungry and we fed you, when were you naked that we covered you, when were you in prison and we visited you’. He said because you have done it to those people that you were praying for and you did not know. Those people you were reaching out to and you did not know them. Those young small children that you did not allow the devil to steal their hearts, it is as though you have covered my nakedness. It’s as though you are visiting me in prison. It’s as though you are feeding me with food.

 

So, God never spoke about the houses they built. Jesus never spoke about how big their congregation was. He did not speak about the multi-million dollar or naira projects that their church embarked on. See, in the kingdom of God, until we go back to the drawing board and look at what is it that Jesus wants. What is the desire of Jesus? He told his disciples, this is how you should pray.  This should be your talking points. Make sure you are connected with your Father. Make sure that whatever you are doing, God comes first. Your relationship with God is not traded for anything and make sure you are kingdom focused, as you are relating with people, as you are going from one place to another, as you are doing your business, make sure you are kingdom focused and it will show in everything you are doing.

 

Jesus gave a parable, He said there were two people that came to pray, the Publican and the Pharisee. He said, the Publican could not even lift up his head. He bowed his head down and said to God, ‘see me, I am a wretched sinner, I just come for your mercy, I don’t deserve it. Just have mercy. I want to please you. That’s my desire’. He said, but the other one came in boastfully, ‘yes we’ve arrived, we just came back from Dubai, It’s this gospel oh. Everywhere all the nations! We are going, Lord I am here, thank you Jesus, yes lord, I am here. I have been doing so many things in your name. See now, we just built a one hundred thousand bed, mother and child hospital. Lord, we just finished one hospital complex there, we just built a school, we just did this, God! I am everywhere for you!  God you know, everywhere for you’. And Jesus said “That one that could not look up, that one that looks as if you know, is asking for mercy. He said He is the one that is justified before God. He said that pompous one that came, boasting about the things he has done. He said he is not justified before God.

 

So how do we pray? Because your prayer shows God your heart. What you pray about shows God your heart. If all you pray about 24 hours in a day is new clothes, new shoes, new house, new car, this one, more money in your bank account. God knows your heart but you are praying, ‘Lord, let your kingdom come, let your will be done, Lord I want to perceive correctly, what are you doing in Nigeria now, what is your heart for Nigeria? What are you saying about the killings in Benue, Lord, people are dying. You are having eternal conversations with God, God knows your heart.

 

And God starts talking to you, your people have sinned in Nigeria, I am not happy with Nigeria, so many innocent blood and you are there for 30 minutes, you are crying mercy Lord. Lord mercy over Nigeria, don’t let this people perish like this. Many more generals and giants are rising up in Nigeria for you, don’t destroy Nigeria like this and you are crying to God for mercy for Nigeria. That’s why the Bible says, seek the good of Jerusalem and you will eat of the good of that land. And God will say, um, I am looking for a son that will do something important for me in Nigeria. God will recommend you without issues. Why? You have sown an eternal seed that must have an eternal reward. God is not a respecter of persons.

 

Some of us will look at some of God’s generals that are making waves and are popular and are doing things for God today and you are saying, is it only them? What is it? When did they even start? Go and focus on the kingdom, don’t let envy and jealousy kill you, don’t use bitterness to destroy your life. Focus on God. As a son of God, kingdom should be your focus. You are looking at the children of God now, you don’t know when they were laboring for the kingdom in the secret place.

 

I want us to read a verse, I love to read this because it will help us.  Philippians 4: 6, this word is for somebody, it will settle your heart.

 

⁶ Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

Philippians 4: 6

 

Be anxious for nothing, did you see it? When you are hungry, don’t be anxious. When it looks like you only have 4 clothes in your wardrobe, don’t be anxious. When it looks as if its only gari and rice you’ve been eating for the last one month, don’t be anxious. He said, be anxious for nothing, nothing means no thing. And he said but in everything. One is be anxious for nothing but in everything, by prayer, did you see it? By prayer, by communicating with God, conversing with God and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be known to God. Don’t sin against God because you are anxious. Don’t sin against God because you are anxious, don’t disobey God because you are anxious. Let your request be known, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving. Because you don’t have a child yet, don’t be anxious, because you are not married yet, don’t be anxious, because you have not started ministry yet, don’t be anxious. Because you have not started receiving alert in your bank account, don’t be anxious but in everything, with prayer and supplication, let your request be made known to God. Let God know. If you go back to that Luke 11 that we read, after your kingdom focus, you can go into other gist with God, God is not angry about it, you’ve prayed.

 

There was a time, because the Holy Spirit showed me a practical example. There was a time the Holy Spirit asked me to focus on intercession,  for young people, especially the younger generation that there will be a wave of revival of God in their midst. That will bring them into the knowledge of the fullness of the revelation of God and I started praying. That particular day, I prayed. I just trusted the Holy Spirit to help me pray and I was just praying, I can’t remember how many minutes or how many hours I was there and you know, when you have a prayer burden and you pray and you feel a light release in your heart about that burden, that’s how I felt and I started worshipping and thanking God.

 

And the Holy Spirit said to me, Now ask, what do you want? It’s as if I have not heard that question before in my life. I didn’t know what to say, it was a blank check. Now tell me, what do you want? For you? You’ve prayed for those young people. What do you want? And I am like God! So God can be this concerned? You know, the way I was praying, you know I prayed until I was not even conscious of the needs in my life. So to even tell God what I want but I had to start thinking. You know at some point I said ‘Holy Spirit, you know everything I need but I don’t want to waste this check. It will be foolishness and I started praying in the Spirit. I said ‘Holy Spirit, I connect with your grace available here, you know the heart of the Father concerning me, I connect to that grace.  And I started praying in the spirit, I prayed , I prayed, I prayed, I prayed, I prayed until a song came into my spirit and I started singing that song and I felt a rush in my spirit.

 

There are some feelings you have as you mature in God that certain sign you see and you understand what it means because you’ve had a repeated experience of it. And until I started feeling the way I feel when I know that I have connected to a grace that can’t leave my life and I just started rejoicing. I said that story not to make you fear that okay, maybe I pray too much or not, that’s not the point. The point is this, that you can be kingdom focused to a point where God is even concerned about you, when it’s not you that is concerned about yourself, when God is concerned about you. And God is saying, you’ve been laboring so much in the kingdom, you are doing as if you don’t have needs. Biola, tell me what do you want.

 

That’s the kind of thing that happened with Solomon, he sacrificed with reckless abandon and God said, you know what, ‘you have made my head swell so much. Solomon, tell me what do you want?’ And remember when God ask you what do you want, don’t waste your check oh! To tell you how God was meticulous. Whenever I read that place, it makes me fear God the more, God gave him an open check and within that open check, the boundary of it is the principles of God. His request was still in the interest of God’s kingdom. He said ‘Ah God! See your people, how great they are and many, how do I rule over them , except you give me wisdom, except you give me understanding’  and see the reply if God, because you have not asked for the head of the enemy, but he could have asked, do you know God will do it but guess what? God will not have given him added advantage because God gave him wisdom, he didn’t ask for riches, God added it.

 

So many of us, we’ve asked and we have not gotten added advantage because we don’t understand the principles of God. Our spiritual perception is weak. When God gives you an open check after praying and serving his interest, it’s not a time to say ‘God, eh eh, now that you have said it no problem , do you know if you give me one hectare in Banana island I don’t mind, do you know if you can just give me this new range rover, that black one that looks like this, that the mouth is like this, I don’t mind it God so let me say it again, there is another one I want to have, if I can just have it, let me just travel to UK, they’ve been talking about UK, UK, UK, if I can just travel’. You have wasted a check. How many times have God asked you, what do you want? But that once was an experience of a life time.

 

God made his name great. His added advantage was beyond his comprehension. So, kingdom focused prayer, gives you added advantage as a son, it gives you added advantage, you pray to the point that God is interested in you. He will say, ‘Angel Michael, you said there is one son of mine that has been praying for two hours, and he is been praying for Libya, why? Is he in Libya? He will say no! He is in Nigeria oh. Eh eh and he has been praying for Libya?’ He said ‘yes, he just perceived that you know, Lord you have not been happy with what was happening in Libya and he started praying for Libya.  Wow! Who is he? In fact, He does not need to ask who is he, he knows you. So he will say, I am going to zero in on him now and God starts zeroing in on your life, the things you did not ask for, the things you did not pray for. God starts sorting issues in your life.

 

This is kingdom secret, people that will matter in the hand of God for generations, not those that will come with smoke anointing that will just come and fizzle out. People that will have perpetual relevance in the house of God are people that are kingdom focused, those that ask correctly.

 

Let’s understand this, be kingdom focused. Upturn darkness. Let the devil become uncomfortable around you as a son of God. Do you think the devil is comfortable when God is around? So if you, as a child of God, the devil is comfortable around you, then something is wrong with you. Because when you carry light enough and you shine, it will dispel darkness, darkness cannot co-habit, they can’t be sharing room, they can’t even share space. They can’t share the same house.
