Life Treatment™ is a platform where life issues are being treated so that we can make progress and work into our prophetic destinies. Today we will be looking at another issue that we would be treating on this episode, and we are looking at loss. Now when we talk about loss what does it mean? How does it apply, loss talks about a process or the fact that you have lost something or someone? So, loss talks about a fact or a process of loosing something or someone. So when that has happened to you in your life’s journey you have experienced loss, it could be a loss of somebody dear, it could be a loss of something dear, it could be a loss of time, it could be a loss of opportunity, it could be a loss of a beloved one, it could be a loss of a spouse, it could be a loss of a child.

 

Anytime you go through a path or a process of loosing something or someone, you have experienced loss. Now, when you experience loss, does it mean your life comes to a halt, does it mean you should stop living, does it mean you should stop aspiring, and trusting God for the next thing in your life? No! having gone through loss is not the end of your life. Loss is painful, loss is demoralizing, its emotionally draining, but it does not speak to your life coming to an abrupt end.

 

When it happens, it looks as if everything is coming to an end and all the walls around you are crashing down, but that is not how to go about it. I know it’s painful, I know its something that is not desirable, I know its something that is emotionally draining, I know it takes a toll on you has a person. But you need to know there is a treatment for loss and we are going to look at two Scriptures in Romans chapter 8 and on how we should react and how we should position ourselves to treat loss.

 

 The first one is in Romans 8;18, it says “for I consider that the sufferings of this present time, are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us”. A loss of something or someone brings us into in a state of suffering, but this scriptures makes us to understand that we must consider, you must come to the point where you consider the sufferings, where you consider the loss and you tell yourself that even though I might have lost something now, even though I might have lost someone now, this suffering is not worthy to be compared with the beautiful future with the glory that is to be revealed in my life. There is a future for you. There is a life after this loss, and there is a glory in that life. You have to pull yourself together, and put yourself in that situation, where you come to consider your life, and say to yourself, that the loss and the suffering of this present time, is nothing compared to the glory, to the beautiful future that is ahead of you, that is one thing you must do. That’s the first treatment for loss.

 

You must pull yourself together and reconsider, reconsider your situation and reconsider your life. Consider and make yourself know that this is the truth. That the glory ahead of you is nothing compared with the present loss and suffering that you are going through, because things will get better, you will smile again.  Though, weeping may endure for a night, joy comes in the morning. There is joy in the morning for you, it’s a night season of loss you are coming out. You don’t stay in the night season forever, there will be a dawning of a new day, and the day will break and you will come into a morning where there is joy for you.

 

Another verse is in 28 of that same Romans chapter 8, and it makes us to understand and it says “And we know, “because until you know things don’t change” all things works together for good [even the loss, you can say what are we talking about, we know and you must come to that point of knowledge] that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose”. You may want to ask, how can a bad thing work together for good, it truly does.

 

It’s only a matter of time for you to know that the suffering of this present time, is nothing to be compared with the glory ahead of you. Because you can’t understand, you can’t come into that reality until you know, you come to the point where you know that all things work together. Usually it doesn’t happen in the moment of loss, but you have to believe that what you are going through, is a springboard for you. That loss you are going through, that loss of something, that loss of that dear person, loss of s spouse, loss of a child, the loss of a job, the loss of an opportunity, the loss of time that you are going through right now, I don’t know the kind of loss that you are going through but this is one thing that I know, that all things even that loss will work together for good for you.

 

Because you love God and because you’ve come to know that God is a good God and He makes all things work together, because that would also be your experience, if you would come to know God and His ways that all things work together for good for them that love God and are called according to His purpose. Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. Please be encouraged and let your life experience this shift, and you will see that you will truly break into a new day and you will experience joy like never before.
