Today we'll be studying the Bible, we will continue from where we stopped yesterday. Yesterday was Kingdom Structure and Formation Part Two, and so today we are going to continue Understanding the Kingdom of God that's what we will be looking at today. There is no need coming into a kingdom that you lack understanding of, there is no need becoming a citizen of a kingdom that you don't know about. The truth is we can never know it enough, we must keep knowing, understanding the Kingdom that we are in because it is until we understand the Kingdom that we are in, that we are able to maximize all that is available for us in this Kingdom.

 

So very quickly, I want us to open our Bibles to the book of Psalm 105, I will read from verse 12 to verse 15. The Scripture is a popular verse that we read a lot. The Bible says: “When they were few in number…” the question is: who were the ‘they?’ Do we know the ‘they?’ The children of Israel, right? The Bible says “when they were few a number indeed very few…” I'm sure we understand from what we learnt yesterday that the kingdom of God is like the mustard seed, very small, so usually there are so much that God does that start very small but it doesn’t’t end there.

 

It says: “when they were few in number indeed very few…”  So, when you're trying to understand the Kingdom, don't begin to imagine or think from the crowd perspective. Don’t begin to think from the multitude perspective. It says: “they were few in number …” and the Bible says “indeed very few and strangers in it when they went from one nation to another from one kingdom to another people, he permitted no one to do them wrong; yes, he rebuked kings for their sakes “saying do not touch my anointed ones…” Who are the anointed ones?  The children of Israel, right? So, if God is saying do not touch my anointed ones and we are saying it represent all of them, why do we still have this mindset that anointing is restricted to a few people? It says: “do not touch my anointed ones …”

 

You see, another word for “Christ” is the anointed one. When you hear the word Christ, it means the anointed one. It now says “do not touch my anointed ones…” what does this suggest to us, let's start from there. If you hear the word anointed ones and you know Christ represents the anointed one, so, who are the anointed ones? Followers of Christ, Christians, Disciples of Christ. So, we could also say ‘little Christs’. The anointed one represent the anointed one. But aside the anointed one there are anointed ones, they are like what we could call the children of the anointed one, the offspring of the anointed one, the fruits of the anointed ones. These ones have come from the anointed one. It says touch not my anointed ones and do my Pprophets no harm. It says when they were few in number, they were moving from one nation to another and one kingdom to another people. And that's where we are going to also start our meditation.

 

Because our goal is to understand the Kingdom and the Bible, by the help of Holy Spirit, is opening it up to us. It says: they went from one nation to another from one kingdom to another people. What does that show us about the kingdom? From Kingdom ‘A’ not to kingdom ‘B’ but from kingdom ‘A’ to another people. So, it means a kingdom is a people. Do you understand? From one nation to another so that means from one nation to another nation but it now says from one kingdom to another people; meaning that a kingdom is a people. So, when we are understanding the kingdom, we are understanding the people. Now so that you will understand these people, God said do not touch my anointed ones. These people are my anointed ones. I have anointed them, the question is how as the lord anointed them, how are these people anointed by God? Because it looks as if the anointing is so crucial in their being a kingdom, in their being a people of God.

 

See it again: it says these people who were few it says in verse 14, He permitted no one to do them wrong, yes, He rebuked kings for their sake saying do not touch my anointed ones, do not touch them. So, if you remove the anointing, you can touch them. So, what separates them from the peoples of the world, note my English; from the peoples of the world, meaning from the kingdoms of this world, is their anointing. In fact, what qualifies them to be prophets is the fact that they are anointed. So, should something affect their anointing that also affects their calling, it affects their functioning on the earth. So, when they go to places, when they go from a nation to another nation; what do they do? They function as prophets. Why? Because they've been anointed.

 

Let us digress a little bit to Isaiah chapter 61 from verse 1. It says: “the spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me because the LORD has anointed me…”  If you continue you will now see what the anointing is meant for. But it is because of the anointing that the Spirit of the LORD is upon me.  It says: “the spirit of the lord is upon me …” Why? Because the LORD has anointed me. So, what separates me from the peoples around my neighbourhood; what separates me from the peoples of this world is that, I am anointed and what is the means of my anointing? Do you see now? Because we are seeing the sequence, it says, The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me. Somebody could be wondering, is it accidental? Or is it like a ripe pawpaw that falls? No! It says: because the Lord has anointed me.

 

So, if that condition does not stand, then the Spirit of the Lord cannot remain and without the Spirit of the Lord being upon me, my anointing does also not remain, it doesn't remain. So, what substantiates my anointing? What guarantees it? What showcases it? What establishes my anointing? It is the Spirit of the Lord upon me. So, I am now by the Spirit of the Lord upon me made a people unto God on the earth. So, I am a Kingdom. I don't know if we are getting it. The essence of this conversation is not to bamboozle anything, or to bamboozle us. It is simply that the word of God should come alive to us. You use the Scripture to understand the Scripture. It says: when they were few in number, God loved them. They were very few, in spite of their littleness, Bible says they move from nation to nation, from kingdom to another people. And that showed us that a kingdom represents a people.

 

If you talk about the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; I always mentioned Saudi Arabia because it looks like the opposite of what I'm talking about. Now, if you hear the word Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and you just think it's about land, or you think it is about an edifice, or you think it is about paper, or all these things, objects? No, it's about a people who are led by a king. But, it's about the people. And it's about the influence on those people. So, when you begin to look at it, you begin to consider the culture of the people, the education of the people, the vocation of the people, but it’s about the people. So whatever Kingdom you mention, even though even if you say the kingdom of Oyo in Southwest Nigeria, it's about a people.

 

Every kingdom is about every people. And so, they were moving from a kingdom, one kingdom to another people from one kingdom to another kingdom. And he says, He suffered no one to do them wrong that is he suffer no other peoples to do them wrong. In fact, their kings were rebuked for their sakes, saying touch not my anointed ones. touch them not, why are you not going to touch them? Because they are anointed by me. What have they been anointed for? They have been anointed to speak my word. He says, do my prophets no harm. The anointing of God does not rest on vacuum, or does not float in the air. The anointing of God falls on people, and it falls for responsibilities.

 

The Isaiah chapter 61 says, The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me. Lest you think the anointing is for fun, it says, to preach good news to the poor, He has sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound to proclaim their safety of the Lord and the day of vengeance of God; to do this, and to do that. There is a reason for the anointing. So don't touch my prophet. I mean, touch not my anointed ones’ is not something to just have and just be dancing around, “I am the Lord's anointed”, anointed for what? So, if you have been appointed for a task, but you fail to do the task, will you keep the anointing or the appointment? No.

 

Let’s have that at the back of our minds, and let's go to Revelations. You know, I said, we digress to Isaiah chapter 61. Let's go back to Revelations, Chapter 11, Verse 15. Understanding the kingdom. Revelation chapter 11, verse 15. We read it also yesterday at the Leadership Fellowship. The Bible says: “then the seventh angels sounded, and they were loud voices in heaven saying…”  Heaven we must acknowledge is a territory, it is a place, a place of people, it is just a different kind of people from you and I; do we accept? And there were loud voices. Now when you hear the word loud voices shows the multitude, or the the number of the people who were making the sound. There were loud voices and the place they came from was identified as heaven. What we heard, or what was heard was voice or we can say voices.

 

Look at it, the Hosts of heaven, the people of heaven, produce sound. And we could hear voices. So, what can we conclude to be the responsibility of the inhabitants of the earth? The peoples of the earth, who particularly belong to God of heaven, they must give voices; that must be in our heart. It says: and there were loud voices in heaven saying, the kingdoms of this world, please replace kingdoms with the peoples in your mind. The peoples of this world have become the people of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever. Who will reign? Christ! Reign over what?  Us! That’s it. Christ has no intention of reigning over trees, over mountains, over chairs and tables, over houses and buildings. His interest is not silver and gold. Christ is not to reign over the atmospheric condition or the weather the climates, His intention is to reign over the people.

 

But for Him to reign something must happen, the peoples of this world. Now, the word this world represents the authority or the governance over the people. The word represents the influence over the people, the political, or the spiritual authority that the people are submitted to. So, what happens, or what happened is, the peoples of this world, will become the peoples of the Lord, simply because the authority over their lives will be replaced with a new authority. That's it, very soon we will see an example. You see, there is no human, that has no authority over his or her life. And by virtue of that authority, you behave the way you behave. You do what you do, by the authority over your life.

 

So, if there is a replacement of the authority over your life, of the influence over your life, there will be a replacement or a change of your behaviour, a change of your taste bud, a change of your choices. At the evening Bible School, we were introduced to something, we were looking at The Root Cause of Debased Mind. And eventually the root cause was identified as the choices of the people, the people choosing within themselves. “We chose not to listen to God. We choose not to know God, we choose to know something else, we choose to believe the lies, we choose to pattern lives after the lies of men.” They are choices. So, if you can change the authority of people, you will change their choices too. They start making different choices.

 

Apostle Paul said in a place that the things that used to be important to him, he now count them as dung for the excellency of Christ. There was a time he also said there are certain things he wanted to do; he realizes that he's doing something else. He finds out that there is a law working within him, but thanks to God through Jesus Christ that has rescued him. Do you understand? There is a law at work in him.  For you to have a law at work in a man you must understand our laws are given by kingdoms, or by kings. There was a time God said the lawgiver shall not depart from Judah. It takes a king to make a law. So, if a law was working within his members, it means there was a king that was ruling him indirectly, that was producing those laws, and he was yielding to the direction or the directives of that king. So, if you could change that king, you will have a new set of laws, that's why Apostle Paul also mentioned the law of the Spirit of life. It produces a different lifestyle. What is the basis for the or what is the genesis of all these changes in laws? It is the change in the king. If you can change the king, you will change the laws. If you can change the laws, you will change the culture and the behaviour of the people.

 

Nigeria today is a nation yearning for change. But the change we are aspiring for, or hoping for is rooted in our constitution. Until the constitution changes, nothing will change. And yet constitution is the law. The question is: who made the Constitution, is it you and I? No, the kings over our lives. So, if you can change the kings, you will change the constitution. Now a new king will arise and say I no longer believe in this constitution. I want a new one. So, with the new king comes a new constitution, the reason why we’ve had changes in our national leadership, yet without changes in constitution, is because we have not had real change in our leadership. We have just been changing men who have similar ideology. If you change ideologies of these men, then it means you have changed them indeed, and then there will be a change of the Constitution. With a change of constitution, you and I will behave differently.

 

So, when you're looking at the kingdom, understand that the peoples are the core of the kingdom, yet, they behave after the order of the kings, that rule of over them. He says the kingdoms of this world, irrespective of the names you call them whether you say the Kingdom of Poland, the kingdom of Russia, the kingdom of China, the kingdom of Korea, the kingdom of Australia, the kingdom of Kenya, the kingdom of Nigeria, all the kingdoms of this world. When you say Nigeria, now you remember the Federal Government of Nigeria that’s the king or the kingly authority over Nigeria, every nation has their kings. And if you can change their kings, you can change the behaviour of the people of those kingdoms.

 

Let us go to Daniel. God has a plan to change the kings. Because the kingdoms of this world cannot become the kingdoms of our God if the Kings don't change. Daniel Chapter 2, let us start from verse 34 to 35. I'm sure we are familiar with the Scripture. The King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream and in the dream an image was erected. The head of gold, the chest of bronze and the other parts of Silver, different things, the legs partly of clay, partly of iron. And so, an each that I've mentioned the gold, the chest, represent different empires, different kingdoms that will reign on the earth. And the Bible says in verse 34, “you watched …” Daniel was addressing the king already in this place “you watched, while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces. Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold, talking about all the kingdoms that have existed before this time; were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors. The wind carried then away. When you hear wind that represents times and seasons. The wind carried them away, so that no trace of them was found, and the stone, the same stone that struck them and crushed them to the point that they became dust carried away in the winds of times and seasons. The stone that struck the image became a great mountain it became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

 

Let us jump to verse 44. Now, what I have read is the dream see the interpretation of that section, verse 44, “and in the days of these kings…” you when you hear ‘these kings’ this shows us that there are kingdoms, these kingdoms. “and in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom…” Now we’ve said that a kingdom also connotes a people. So, there will be a new set of people in the days of these kings in the days of these kings not after they are gone hallelujah. It as if the the people who will be set up in the days of these kings have a role to play in crushing these kingdoms. If you think the kingdoms will be crushed by Christ alone then you are imagining vain things.

 

There is a responsibility of the people of the kingdom of Christ in crushing the kingdoms that have been before these kings. The kingdoms that have been before the kingdom the new one is set up. And it says: “and in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed and the kingdom shall not be left to other people.” It won’t mix with other kingdoms, there will be a distinction between the people of the kingdom, the new kingdom and the people of the old kingdoms. They will be governed by different set of laws, they will have different characters sets, their mentality will be different, they will not be debased in their minds, they will not have corrupt knowledge, they will not be avoiding God in their knowledge, they will not be saying oh my gosh instead of oh my God, they will not be saying my goodness instead of my God. they will retain God in their knowledge because they belong to the kingdom of heaven and they have been set up as a people in that Kingdom.

 

You know when you're hearing a kingdom understand that there are a people and there is a king over the people. Now this Kingdom is not a Kingdom without a king. Bible says, “the stone that was cut without human hands…” we will soon find out about it. Bible says it shall not be left to other people it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, all and it shall stand forever. It shall stand forever, that’s the mind of God. That's the agenda of God. One thing we must not forget from what we just read is that there is a role for the people of the new kingdom in crushing the previous kingdoms. There is something they must do and if they refuse to do it, they will be the ones shouting Lord when will you crush all these kingdoms. Let us go to Act, the same question was asked, Acts of the apostles’ chapter 1:4-8. The Bible says:

 

“And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; ⁵ for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” ⁶ Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?”

 

When will you crush the kingdom of Rome? When will you stop the king of Rome from ruling over us? That was the question. When will you make us indeed a kingdom under your authority? When will you make us a people that can relate with you get orders from you and carry it out till the end? Lord, when are we going to start serving your interests and not serving the interest of men? Lord, when will our lives begin to count for something meaningful? They asked! Verse 7: And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. ⁸ But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you…” You could be looking at yourself as a weakling, a nonentity, a nobody. You have come from nowhere. Who is your father? Who born you? Are you a Northerner? Are you a Southerner? What's your political party? You could have been imagining those things and you could have relegated yourself to the background. But the Lord said, but you, even you shall receive power.

 

When, at the time. Not if, Jesus didn't doubt. He only defined them the time. As soon as the time comes, that shall be your experience. So, your authority on this earth, your power in Nigeria, wherever God has established your feet is not in doubt. It's in time. He says, but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit as come upon you. It’s like when the Holy Spirit has settled well in you, power will come to you. Some people think this also just means that the Holy Spirit just lands on them. It says but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come. I don't understand English too much. But I'm seeing that when the Holy Spirit has settled well in you. When your life and the life of the Holy Spirit have intermingled. When men see the Holy Spirit in you, they see the power of God in you. When your life has started producing the fruit, the evidence of the presence of the Spirit power will flow in your life.

 

Some people have been imparted with the Holy Spirit several times but they have not seen power. They have not allowed the Holy Spirit to settle in them. John said: I did not know Him. But that He should be revealed, that’s why I came baptizing. The one who sent me said on anyone on whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining, that's the One. It is not enough that you are filled with the Holy Spirit, or the Holy Spirit comes upon you. The Holy Spirit must remain. Until the Holy Spirit remain till the time and point that He is able to grow fruits out of you, power cannot be experienced by you. Your power in God is not in doubts, the precondition is that the Holy Spirit must be settled in you.

 

You know, was the difference, this is a funny example somebody that they slapped once and somebody that they slap perpetually? You know the comedians they will say that when a military man slaps you, there's a difference between it when Bro Gboyega slaps you. What’s the difference? The impact, the intensity! It is like there is a permanent imprint of the impact of the military on your face perpetually. Some people have received the Holy Spirit nobody can believe them. Seriously, you mean you have been filled with the Holy Spirit? Well, I can't believe it. There is nothing that is left in you that they can say this is must have been left here by the Holy Spirit.

 

Why? The Holy Spirit that came upon you has gone a long time ago. No imprints, no impact. We will see the example in the Bible. Before you start saying the power of God is not available again, you must answer the question: has the Spirit settled in me or He has left? Jesus said, don't begin to assume that you cannot matter in this time. This is how you will matter. And let's continue but you shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be witnesses to me, you shall be my voices, you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. You know we said it, when the Spirit comes into you, or comes upon you, the implication is that you are anointed. And the anointing is not so that you can be shouting around, do you know I'm anointed? Do you know I’m an anointed man of God? That’s not it. The anointing is for a responsibility. Everywhere you see the anointing it is for something.

 

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me because he has anointed me to preach. There's something the anointing is meant for. The Holy Spirit has not filled me, the Holy Spirit has not settled in me so that I can be smiling around. He has settled in me so that I can do, so that I can speak, so that I can do something in His name, so that I can be responsible. He says you will be witnesses to me. You will not be witnesses to Caesar, you will be witnesses to me. You will not be servants of Caesar the king, you will not be witnesses to Herod, you'll be witnessing to me, you will be my own witnesses. By the virtue of the witnessing, which you will do in my name, the kingdoms of this world shall become the kingdoms of the Lord and our God.

 

Apostle Paul and his team, they got to a place and he said, these are the men that have turned the whole world upside down. Do we remember it? And what happened? They turned the world upside down means they have upturn or replace, in the hearts of men the influence of the powers of this world. Don’t forget, oh, great goddess, Diana, those craftsmen were not angry with apostle Paul because of just goddess or no goddess. It was because they make a lot of money from those who bow Diana and buy the artifacts that they they produce. Now Apostle Paul and his people were discouraging people from doing that. So, what happens? Their businesses, their economy, will come down. The influence of Diana over the choices of men, the behaviour of the people will also cease. What has happened? The apostles have then turned the world upside down.

 

Until you and I have turned the world upside down, we have not begun to fulfill the purpose of God for our lives. The people people used to go to, until they stop going to them. things people used to spend money on, until they stop it because of your own work, work and words, you have not begun to fulfill the purpose of God for your life. We have the responsibility of turning the world of upside down. That is the only way the Kingdom, the peoples of this world will become the peoples of our Lord. Until those who go to beer parlour, every night, they stop going there. They now start going God, until the things they spend money on, they stop spending money on. If that does not happen, the peoples of this world will still remain with their lord. They will still remain with their kings.

 

When a man is having some issues, he will say let me just take some bottles, you know, give me a pepper soup and just get me some things you know, and as he's doing that a lady is walking around, before you know it, he making decisions, his friends are suggesting to him how to build his marriage, how to build his home, principles are flowing straight from the revelation, revelational principles from the bottles of beer, imported and local beers, giving revelations. So, they begin to pattern their lives, their businesses are shaped by the things they share. Can you imagine the amount of revelation that flows in beer parlors? You cannot take those bottles and not have revelations. The spirit in the bottle supply, so until you are able to do things or say things that stop people from thinking bottles are the solutions to their problems, your ministry has not started. We have a responsibility as a people. We should not be thinking this is all that Christ we do on His own, Christ must do it with us. We are bold to say we are joint heirs with Christ. Don’t we say that? And we have a joint responsibility with Him.

 

The Bible says the same one that descended also ascended and gave gifts, He gave responsibilities to men, He told some to function as apostles, He told some to function as prophets, He told some to function as evangelist, He told some to function as pastors, some to function as teachers. Where is your own functioning, where do you fit in? There must be something you have been created and taught to do in order to crush the kingdoms of men. God does not call us to be at pal with them.

 

Before I go to Genesis, I want us to see something in first Peter chapter two. If you go about romancing the kingdoms of men, please don't say you belong to the kingdom of Christ. It's not about being a fanatic it's about being responsible. 1 Peter 2:1. The Bible says: therefore, laying aside all what? All malice these are the things that are strong in the world, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking. You know this list is not exhaustive. All drunkenness, all lies and all manner of things we can imagine. It says as new born babes desire the sincere…Babes of where? Are you babes of your village? No! Of the new kingdom. In the days of these kings, the God of heaven shall set up a new kingdom. And haven been born into the new kingdom you are babe. The Bible says desire the pure milk of the world that you may grow thereby.

 

At the Leadership Fellowship we were told about how we need the word to grow, the seed. You need the word to grow. In this Kingdom, you grow by the word do we still remember that? Alright. It says “desire the pure milk of the word that you may grow there by.” In case somebody is wondering how do I grow in this new kingdom? The word of God. “If indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious, coming to Him as to a living stone…” not a dead stone, rejected indeed by men another way you can put it rejected indeed by the men of this world, by the kings of this world. They have rejected him. So, if they've rejected him the laws that they make will not be His laws.

 

But chosen by God and precious., you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house. Jesus said “in my Father’s house are many mansions…” in my Father’s Kingdom. So, a spiritual house is a kingdom, you! If the Bible says, if the Bible points to all of us and says, you are being built up a spiritual house, so it means even though you look at me as a person, and you look at us as a people, we are simply a Kingdom. That's what we are saying, when you're saying the kingdoms of this world, you're talking about the peoples of this world. The devil builds them as a people, as a spiritual house to for himself. So, you know, one of the things I just came to my mind, I don't if it’s part of the message, you know, we said, as new born babes desire, the sincere milk of the word that you may grow thereby other is as if the Holy Spirit was telling me also a few seconds ago, that the opposite, how the devil grows people into a spiritual house in his own kingdom is through media.

 

What you see, what you hear, it makes you into an edifice in the kingdom of darkness. Go and check your life, the things you have done that is against the will of God. You saw somebody do it on the media, you heard it, they made it look legal, they made it look easy, a little. It makes you high. It makes you discerning. Somebody is struggling in business after smoking something and drinking some things. He was able to negotiate the business and he got billions of dollars, what do you do also, you got to take one. If his head was not correct and that thing corrected it, my head too can be corrected by that.

 

So, look at how women dress in Nigeria, this wasn't it in those days. As we watch Hollywood, we start changing. We change into what we see. People do what people see. Now, instead of you being engrafted into the media world, and you become like them, what God is saying is be engrafted into the word of God. As the media can change a people into the people of this world, the word of God has the ability to make you fully into the kingdom of Christ. You start behaving what you see, you start doing what you see, you start believing what you see. God says you are the head and not the tail you start believing it. God says He will take away sicknesses from you, you start believing it. Everything God says, God says say it and you will see it. You're not like I we see it before I say it. And then you believe it. You start saying things and you start seeing things. From where did you get it from? You got it from the word of God. That is why if you open the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, you can find the path for your life. Looking into the perfect law of liberty.

 

All right, it says: “we are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ…” Can you see again? You are being built up a spiritual house, not for fun. It says to offer up spiritual sacrifices. The Kingdom is spiritual. You become a people of the Kingdom because of your spiritual growth. Number one, your spiritual birth makes you a partaker of the kingdom. Your spiritual growth makes you to be rooted in the kingdom. So, you are born into the Kingdom, you grow spiritually in the Kingdom and then you begin to offer spiritual sacrifices.

 

It says Therefore, it is also contained in the Scripture behold I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone elects precious and he who believe in him will by no means be put to shame. Therefore, to you who believe He is precious. But to those who are disobedient, the stone which the builders rejected. Another word for the builders is the leaders. The kings of this world. The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone and a stone of stumbling are rock of offence. They stumble been disobedient to the word to which they also were appointed, they disobeyed the word and they stumbled. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people. So, when you yet you are a citizen of the Kingdom of God, it means you are a people of God, you are not just any kind of people you are special. Why are you special? He chose you; you are chosen.

 

Now, when Kingdoms chooses certain people to represent them, they always choose the best. So, they have always thought nothing good can come out of your life, remember you are chosen, that means you are the best or you are one of the bests. That you may proclaim the praises. Again, we are seeing purpose. You have not been chosen to eat plantain; you have been chosen to proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light. Haven been called into this marvellous light, you have a responsibility to proclaim, another word for proclaim is to declare, to propagate, to preach. To proclaim, to tell of His goodness.

 

Has the Lord been good to you? Witness Him to others, tell others, show them with your life. That's why you have a moral responsibility. You have a spiritual responsibility unto God, to make your life work with God. Because if your life doesn't work, you have nothing to tell others about. Oh, come to Christ, see my life, nothing is working. Your life would be just like this, who wants to come. So, you have to make your life work. Don't fail in the schools of God. Pass your exams, move to the next phase, there is more in God, God is able to move you from one level of glory to another level of glory. God is able to make your life an example. You can be a showcase, a showroom, a product for display in the Kingdom.

 

God is able to say if I could do it with him, I can do it with you. If I could do it with her, I can do it with you. Don't give up on life. The Kingdoms of this world could have made you a rubbish entity or made you think you are nobody. If I could do it with this man. I can also make you somebody. Jesus said to His disciples, who thought they were nobody follow me and I will make you fishers of men. Haven become fishers of men; they began to actually fish for men. So, the question is, how did they do it? They began to tell others about Christ, what Christ has done for them. This same Jesus that you crucified, Him, God has raised up and by His power, we have done these things, by the authority of His name, we have done these things. If you want to do these things as we do, you must give your life to Him. That's witness. Aprons taken from their bodies were healing the sick, their shadows began to do things.

 

They were witnessing. Even though they were not the political leaders of their days, the political leaders recognize they had power. They said among themselves, let us threaten them that they spread no further. Their influence is growing. The whole of Jerusalem is filled with their words. They are converting people. You know when the Bible says many of the priests were obedient to the faith. Things were happening. The kingdoms of this world were turning to the Kingdoms of our Lord. And the authorities said among themselves: let us threaten them. And instead of them to be afraid, they went back to God. And Bible says they were filled with the Holy Spirit once again. And by the filing they became bold to declare the word of God by the Spirit. When the Spirit comes upon you, you are empowered to witness. You're empowered to witness. You're able to join hands with God in crushing the kingdoms that have been. The kingdoms of this world will continue to fail, they have a destiny of failure.

 

So, there is nothing you can do; scientific experiment, nothing can work outside of God. When they have done all, when all is said and done, they have been destined to be crushed the wind will blow them away; the wind of times and season we blow them away. Only the Kingdom of Christ will remain and that means only the people of Christ will be enthroned in Christ Jesus. They will be responsible for shaping the lives of others. They will have the responsibility to make laws, make policies, build things, set up things, make things work. It looks today like anything that is worldly is what is progressing. They have a time. But if that time will be hastened, you also have a responsibility. If you have been born into the kingdom of God, you must understand that you are being built up a spiritual house, you are being built up a kingdom; a kingdom that shall not be left to other people.

 

So, people cannot fathom the extent, the magnitude of the grace of God in your life. But by the grace of God, you're able to move mountains, you're able to solve problems, by the grace of God.
