No matter what you are facing right now, it is a fear of the devil beclouding you, God's word is true and that’s why when we were starting this meeting I said we should pray that, Lord, open my eyes to see what you are saying to me. Many of us need to stand up and send the spirit of fear out of our lives. The reason many of us don't have enjoyable and lasting miracles and answered prayers is because of fear. God answers a prayer and suddenly devil brings fear instead of you to believe you are now doubting. Because one of the greatest things that happen when the spirit of fear abound is doubts (unbelief).  Because of the spirit of fear, white chair will be looking like blue to you, why? The spirit of fear has blinded you from seeing what God is doing.

 

So this woman said, don’t lie to me. But at the end of the story we can go back to read that Second Kings chapter four, from the eighth and read down to verse seven. This woman went back with her testimony intact. Every believer that will not entertain the spirit of fear will always go back with their testimony intact. Jesus healed 10 lepers, and He told them go and wash and as they were on their way I think he ask them to show their selves to the priest, I think; as they were on their way, they noticed that they were cleansed. And nine of them decided that we have already been cleansed before we turn back and the leprosy will return with us Let us continue but one said we don't need to show ourselves to the priest again, let me go back to the source.

 

Fear will always keep you on one spot. Faith makes you progress. And when that one leper noticed that he had been cleansed. He wasn't going ahead again to the priest. He turned back to Jesus and said Jesus, you said we should go and show ourselves, as we're going I realized have been cleansed. What did Jesus say? Did Jesus say go? You have been cleansed; just continue in your cleansing. What did He do to him? Jesus made him whole. So you know when leprosy comes, because sometimes when we're reading Scriptures, we don't want to understand and paint pictures, meaning that when leprosy comes, those who are familiar with how leprosy works. When leprosy takes hold of somebody usually it cut their fingernails, their toe nails. It brings them to a point of being handicapped technically. So when those that went, the nine of them saw that they were cleansed, they were cleansed but not made whole.  Their fingers were still short; their toenails were still short. All that happened was that the signs of leprosy on their skin had left that’s the meaning of they were cleansed.

 

But you see the one that returned back to the source that returned back to Jesus was made whole. Meaning that all the fingers that were short. All the toes that were short was restored back to normal like a newborn baby. So when the Lord is speaking to us about something, we must take it seriously. The reason many believers have the experience of the nine lepers is because of fear. Fear will take you away from God. Faith will bring you to God.

 

What brought the Shunammite woman back to Elisha was not fear, it was faith. Another woman could have said that man lied to me.  Would have gone ahead to bury the son, and now scatter the chamber and say why did I even build this chamber in the first place and go inside with rage and anger and scatter the entire chamber because of fear, because fear would have short blinded you from see what God is doing. So the question is, how are you living your life?  Is it in fear or in faith? What is the confession of your mouth? What's the belief in your heart? What do you believe? Because your belief system is so important, what you believe. Job said the thing that I fear most happen to me, as befallen me. Meaning that fear cripples a man. Fear cripples a woman. Romans 8:31, What then shall we say to these things? If God before us, who can be against us.

 

“What then shall we say to these things if God” I want us to listen to this statement, If God, meaning that it is possible that God is not in the picture. What shall we say to these things; it means it is a conditional statement, if God is for us the question is who is for you? Who do you believe is for you? Do you know there are some people that every time they sit down to sleep at night, even to sleep at night is a problem? If any bird mistakenly flies near, is their village people. If rat does not know how to walk properly, and walk in front of them, is there village people. Why? There is so much fear in their heart. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for you, if God is for us, who can be against us? Can we answer that question? If God, be for us, who can be against us? No one! You must believe that God is for you. The Shunamite woman believed that God gave her that child. That's why she could take that child back to God.

 

What do you believe? The things that are happening in your life, do you think they are just happening per chance? Or is some concoction from the village people? Do you believe that the devil is just playing football in your family? What do you believe? Do you believe that there are some witches and wizards in the village that are stronger and more powerful than God? What do you believe? You know, there are some funny people, they worship the devil. And they now say to the devil; praying to him, please don't touch me. Don't touch my family; go to another person's house. They pray to the devil whose assignments and life's mission is to kill, to steal and to destroy. They are now begging him. Devil, please don't do your assignment o, in fact the way I’m worshiping you now, in my own area don't do your assignment. Because he cannot deny himself. But you have God. The Almighty God, the Master of the universe, the one that controls the whole heaven and earth.

 

 The Bible says there is no hair that falls down on your head that God is not aware of. Do you know how many hairs are on your head? And the Bible says there is no hair that falls down from your head that God is not aware of. Your walls are ever before him. And you are captured by fear. Who brought that fear into your heart? Who is the father of fear? Who is sponsoring that fear factor in your life? Is the devil.

 

 That's why the Bible says resist the devil. When you resist the devil you will resist everything the devil stands for. Resist the devil, he didn't say God will resist the devil for you, you resist the devil, and he will flee. How did the Shunammite woman resist the devil? By making sure she was putting on faith. They asked her, why are you going today? What is happening? It is well. What are the things that are happening around you even when you don't understand? The Bible says, let the weak say I am strong, when you say I am strong you are not lying. You are confessing faith.

 

Because you are saying I will not fear, I will not be afraid. Because we don't understand the way we speak. The same words we speak get back into our ears and into our hearts. And I just said it now, you didn't just say it, that word that left your mouth. That's why the Bible says, for every idle word, you will give account. The word left your mouth, it entered your ears and is sitting in your heart. What you say is so powerful. This woman said it is well.  To show that fear as no space in her heart. And when she goes to the Man of God, she was strong. Nobody saw her tears until she got into the presence of God.

 

Nobody saw her weakness until she got into the presence of God. Do you call for sympathizers and pity party? And they are looking and saying and this one goes to church? See, even her God cannot save her this time? Is that what you do, or you believe in the Lord your God?  The Bible says believe the Lord your God and you will prosper; believe his prophet and you shall be established.  Believe the Lord your God. If there's anybody to believe in this life, believe the LORD your God. Let God be true and every man a liar.  In your life, let God be true.
