I want to ask u a question, of course, I am not doubting the truth that you are called a prophet, or a servant of God, but Sir/Ma, the day the Lord called you into ministry, what were you told, did God in anyway tell you that all He wants to do for people in your generation is to give His sons and daughters new jobs, cars, houses, money, Visas, latest fashions, and other material prosperities as you claim, and go about confessing upon men to be favoured in return with their Goods?
You must not tell us before we know that God is interested in the physical prosperities of His children, but if that were all that matter to God, there wouldn't be need for Jesus to suffer the agony of death.
Abraham was prosperous long before He received the promise of the SEED to be born. God did not need Jesus to be born to give anyone wealth, no, He didn't. God didn't need Jesus to die on the cross to raise anyone to the top. People like Joseph, Daniel...and Job were already hot cakes (famous) in their generations long before Jesus showed up on stage. (See Dan. Chapter 1, 2, 6; Gens 39 to 42, and Job 1 and 2.)
“We do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
One of the eternal counsels of Jesus that we must not give deaf ears to in this generation as we labour with Christ in the Kingdom business is the account of Luke chapter 12 verse 15, “And He said to them [and us], “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.”
The death of Jesus is central for our salvation, deliverance, dominion, priesthood, and reign upon the earth. This is core to our calling not in things that fade away in their usages. (See Rev. 5:10.)
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 7:21, ESV).
Never allow yourself to labor for waste just to please men, and satisfy your greed and belly. It is more dangerous to labour for the wrong reason than not to have done anything at all; for that you would be beaten with lesser strap than when your labour which was ordained to turn men from hell unto the living God is used to turn men into hell. He that commissioned us will come, let Him not meet you doing it your way. The pattern of Jesus’ life and ministry documented in the 4 Books of the gospel is the Kingdom approved standard.
Think about this thing. Don't let the end meet you doing kingdom business according to your personal lust and details; the lusts of your flesh; fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind.
Thanks for the gift of your time, John Ojoagbene!
