THE 3 STRATEGIC INDICATORS OF YOUR SPIRITUAL GROWTH

How To Measure The State Of Your Spiritual Being Per Time

Today we are looking at something very important. We are considering The 3 strategic Indicators of Your Spiritual Growth. I believe there are many indicators of your spiritual growth. However, for the sake of time, we will be considering three that we consider to be strategic enough for our discussion. What are the three things that we can see in your life, in your spiritual experience and then have some ideas of how far you have grown or how far you are growing in the Spirit. It is important that we understand that as much as growth is visible in the physical, growth could also be visible in the Spirit. If you can see a growing baby, then you can see a growing man or woman in the Spirit.

Listen To Podcast: THE 3 STRATEGIC INDICATORS OF YOUR SPIRITUAL GROWTH

As growth can be noticed in your children, growth can be noticed in your life in the Spirit. We can know if you are growing, we can know if you are stagnating, and we can know even if you are declining. It is possible. The three things we want to consider today, they are not things to tell whether you are a sinner or not, whether you are a believer or not. But this is just to show the dimension of your growth in the Spirit. There is nothing that we are discussing today that is to condemn you or to say you are not growing or unworthy, No! That is not the discussion. Everything we will be looking at today is about somebody or you who has began a walk with God, perhaps some years back or some months; and now you want to understand how far you have grown in the Spirit, so that you will know whether you should double up or double up; because in the Spirit, you either double up or you double up. You cannot stagnate; you cannot afford to remain on the same spot. You cannot!

Because it is also understandable in the world, even in the physical things or biologically, that you are either growing. You cannot stay on the same level. You see, they say about the brain, that it is either you are growing the brain or your brain is deteriorating. It cannot stay at the same spot. So, it is important we understand the place of growth in your spiritual health. If you must remain in spiritual health, you must actually be in a state of spiritual growth. You must be growing spiritually. So, we are looking at The Three strategic Indicators of Your Spiritual Growth.

The first indicator we want to consider under this heading is:

#1. HOW GOD LEADS YOU!

That is the first thing, the first strategic indicator of your spiritual growth. Now it is important you understand that God leads you once you are born again. Now, how God leads you as a believer could then become an indicator of your state in the spirit. And I want to start from the other side, and so, let us go to Hebrews 1:1-3; because there are two sides of leadership of God on a people who have been, or who could be called saved or sanctified people, a people who are followers or worshippers of God. There are two strategic means by which God leads such a people. Hebrews 1:1-3. The Bible says:

"God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets." The first thing you will notice here is that the verse  began with "God", and so, our focus is: How does God lead you? How are you led by God? Verse 2-3: "has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; 3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high."

Now, there is a kind of dichotomy here, the time past, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets. But in these days, God speaks to us by His Son. So, we can see two categories: God speaking via His Son, God speaking via His sons or we could say via the prophets. Now, there is something in verse 3 that shows us the difference between the two scenarios. The first scenario is when God speaks to His people through the prophets. The second scenario is when God speaks to His people through His Son. The second one has a unique difference in verse 3; the Son is the brightness of God's glory and the express image of His person. Now the question is: What were the states of the previous prophets that God used to reach out to His people?

They were also believers in God, worshippers of God. But none of them has this description of being the express image of the person of God who was the brightness of God's glory. And so, we could see that if a man's life is led or a woman's life is the one that is led by one, there is a outcome which is going to be different from if your life was led by the other. Already we could see an unequal or an uneven balance here - disequilibrium, a situation where one is higher than the other. There is going to be a difference between the lives of the ones who are led by this order different from those that are being led by the old order. Now my statements are being ambiguous a bit but very soon, we will become more specific.

Now, how does God lead you? That is the question we are looking at, which can become an indicator of your growth. Of course, the two groups are God's people. However, the first categories of people are led by prophets. Now, there is no specific emphasis on a prophet, but perhaps there is a prophet who became more influential on every generation than other prophets, and that prophet is Moses. And that shows a category of people who are led by the laws of Moses. And there is another category of people who are led by Jesus or either, they are led by the Spirit of Christ. And so, you could see that the lives of the people who were led by the laws of Moses or you could say the prophets, is going to be one that will not be exact like the lives of those who are led by God through the Son or the Spirit of the Son.

Why? The Laws of Moses, as beautiful as they were, were crafted by God through human vessels that were not exact representation of the glory of God. Now Jesus being the exact representation of the glory of God is able to show the Father exactly and perfectly. Now, at a point, the disciples said to Jesus; "show us the Father and it will be sufficient for us." And Jesus said "have I being with you this long and you are saying "show us the Father?" If you have seen me, you have seen the Father." None of the prophets ever made that statement. So, learning from the prophets, reading the laws as written in the word of God, in the Holy Scriptures; as great as that could be, it is nothing compared to a life that is led by the Son of God or by the Spirit of God. I hope we understand that?

Let us quickly consider Deuteronomy 18:15. There is a statement made there by Moses himself and I want us to consider it. The Bible says: "The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren. Him you shall hear." From here we can see that Moses identified himself as a prophet. So, when the Bible says in Hebrews 1:1-3, that God at various times and in various ways spoke to our fathers through the prophets, the Bible was also referring to Moses as one of the people that God used to speak to the children of Israel. And even though they were led by God through the laws of Moses, there is a possibility of a people to also be led by God through His Son Jesus Christ and the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

Now, one of the Pharisees, and High Priest, in the book of Acts, as soon as the man at the Beautiful Gates was healed; and they were conversing with him. At a point, they asked the man: "Do you also want to become a disciple of Jesus Christ?" And they told the man blatantly, "No! We will not become His disciples, we are disciples of Moses." Now the Pharisees objected to the discipleship of Jesus, meaning, they objected to the possibility of God speaking to them through Jesus. And the way God speaks to the disciples of Jesus is through the Spirit of Christ. So, rejecting Jesus is rejecting the Spirit of Christ and so, that means they perpetuate themselves under the leadership of God through Moses.

Now, while God may still be blessing them, they are actually shortchanging themselves, limiting the power of God. Let me use this familiar example here. Sometime ago, 2G came to Nigeria, and later, 3G, and later; 4G, and now, they are talking about 5G. Now, there is no how a man could get in love with 2G and says he prefers 2G to 4G. I have not used 5G, but I have used 4G, I know the difference between the two. I know how I used to wait endlessly in Cybercafé whenever I am browsing. You know you can practically want to read your mail, click and read and you will practically sleep and wake while the mail was still loading. Very terrible data connection or data speed. Now, imagine that God has not just given us a 4G kind of connection; He has given us His own Son.

Now, if you were able to receive from God when you were connecting with Him through the laws of Moses, how much more would you receive from God when you are connecting with Him through Jesus Christ? Now, there is a flow that can come from God to you simply because you are following Moses, you are reading the laws of Moses and as far as you are concerned, you are a righteous man according to the laws of Moses. Now you will enjoy God's blessings. However, there is a dimension that you will miss which you would have enjoyed if you had submitted yourself to the leadership of the Holy Spirit, the moment you accepted Jesus as the one you want to follow. So, God has raised up for us two possibilities, two opportunities to receive from Him.

When we are talking about this leadership, it connotes so much. It is the basis for whatever you are able to learn, it is the basis for wherever you are able to get to in life. Now, whether you will get to certain places or certain points in life, is going to be a function of who leads you and how you are led by God. Now, we are not saying that God is not involved in the two; we are just saying that God used to do something does not mean that God wants to continue to do. In the time past, God was speaking to our fathers through the prophets, but now God wants to speak to you and I through His Son Jesus Christ. And in case you cannot see Jesus around you, can you see His Spirit around you? Are you submissive to His Spirit? Then if you are not, you will actually be finding yourself following the laws of the prophets. Of course you are still following God, but you are missing what God has made available. Amen!

That is why Bible talks about a group of people who have the form of godliness but they lack the power in it. Bible says in the book of John that the laws came through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ our Lord. And so, if Moses or the prophets are the ones leading you, you will have laws. The prophets over your life will tell you ten strategic things you must do if you want to live a righteous life. Now they will tell you six tips if you don't want to fall into sin. They will give you laws; they will tell you everything you must do to be righteous. And in case you violate them, they will give you the judgment that is ahead of you. Now, while your life could be okay with that, there is a new way or a new order of living by grace. You are walking in truth and in grace; you are not struggling to please God because the grace of God is sufficient for you.

That is why we are saying that it is possible for God to have a package for a people and a people not aware of it simply because they are not submissive to the channel through which they can receive it. Some people have rejected Jesus, they have embraced the prophets, and that is what we find in our churches today. Many people will rather listen to their pastors than listen to the Holy Spirit. And let us see Romans 8:14. The Bible says: "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God." These are not children, these are not babes. These are the sons of God, these are men and women who have grown in the Spirit, who have become trees of righteousness, who are no longer toss to and fro by every wind of doctrine, but who are established in the truth. Why? The Spirit of Christ leads them.

The question you must ask yourself is this: Am I led by God through the prophets or Am I led by God through the Spirit of Christ? These are important things that you must think about. I want us to see a place again to see the contrast. Exodus 13:20-22. We are familiar with the Scripture but I want us to see it. The Bible says:

"So they took their journey from Succoth and camped in Etham at the edge of the wilderness. 21 And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night. 22 He did not take away the pillar of cloud by day or the pillar of fire by night from before the people."

It is a familiar story. The People of Israel have just left the land of bondage, the key word was, "let my people go that they may serve me." So, they have not really been serving, they have not really been worshipping. So, it shows a level of maturity, It shows that they were at a level of children, or babes. Now because these are babes, and they must still be led by God, God prepared instituted a means for their leadership. So every night, there was a pillar of fire to give them light. Every day, there was a pillar of cloud to lead them. So they were moving forward in the day, they were moving forward in the night, based on the cloud in the day and night.

Now one thing that you must notice about the two: cloud and fire, is that the two are physical things. You don't need to be in the Spirit to see cloud. Do you understand? These are physical things. You don't have to be in the Spirit to see fire. Once fire is burning, you will see it. And so, you could see that God was leading them at that time with physical things. Don't forget Bible says "now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." When we are talking about faith and spiritual things, we are talking about the things that cannot be seen with your physical eyes. Now, can God lead you by visible things or can God lead you by intangible, invisible things? This will tell how matured you have been and how you are growing as a child of God.

Now, are you a man or a woman who would only move when you see physical or visible things or you can still move even though you are hearing a voice? Are you led by a voice or are you led by signs? Bible says some people will not believe except by signs, except these people see signs, they will believe. That shows a level of growth. When you are at the level of a babe, you don't move by voice, you move by signs, by the things you see. Even though you are moving forward, you are simply moving forward as a babe. You must not forget that.

Again, in Luke 4:1, I am sure we are familiar with it. As soon as Jesus Christ was filled with the Holy Spirit; the Bible says He was led by the Spirit into the wilderness. And so, you must understand that even when Jesus was in Israel, when God wanted to lead Him, God did not lead Him through the Laws of Moses. He did not go to the laws of Moses to know whether to go to the wilderness or to the farm. He knew where to go to simply because the Spirit of God was leading Him. And so, you must understand that. That is the first strategic indicator of your spiritual growth, how you are led by God. Are you led by the laws, the things that are written, the old order, or are you led by a still-small voice? When the Bible says in Isaiah that you will hear a voice behind you saying "this is the way, walk in it, when you turn to the right and when you turn to the left." Are you hearing a voice and you are moving by the voice or you must see things before you move? Alright!

The second strategic indicator of your spiritual growth is:

#2. HOW GOD FEEDS YOU

The first one that we saw was How God Leads you. Now, at this point, we are looking at how God feeds you, and I want us to quickly go to John 21. It is another story that we are familiar with, and we will start our meditation fro, verse 1. How God feeds you. The Bible says:

"After these things Jesus showed Himself again to the disciples at the Sea of Tiberias, and in this way He showed Himself: 3 Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.” They said to him, “We are going with you also.” They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing. 4 But when the morning had now come, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. 5 Then Jesus said to them, “Children, have you any food?"

The first thing you will notice is that Jesus called them "children", He did not call them sons and He did not call the, friends. He said “Children, have you any food?" They answered Him, “No.” 6 And He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." Now, if we pause here for now, we are shown a scenario, a situation where a man, a people, who have been following Jesus, suddenly told themselves that they need to go and fish. The question we should ask is this: Why did they think they needed to fish? And what did fish represent to them? And that shows us the state of their spiritual growth. This was the moment that they thought Jesus had died and He had gone, and they were in a moment of darkness, so to say. All the things that they have believed became shaken; they did not think Jesus could die, even though Jesus told them He was going to die.

One thing you must not forget and one of the things that I meditated on are the things that differentiate children from those who are growing. I want you to examine children generally, I have realized that when children are growing up, especially at the earlier stages, they have this adventurous desires. They want to try something; they want to do new things. That is number one. Number two, contrary to what many people might believe, is that children also have this independent mindset. Of course, many people think children are not, that adults are. But go and prove this. Children will tell you that they can do certain things that you are thinking they cannot do, because they love to take glory for their works. Even though they will still fail at doing it, they want to be the only one doing it so that they can be the only one to claim the praise.

Now adults over time have come to learn that you don't have to be the only one to do it, you need others around you. Now let us take this further. The disciples, before that time, they had been enjoying provision and supply. But they told themselves; "let us go and fish. Let us go and look for a means for our own survival." And Bible says, throughout their fishing adventure, so that we can know that there is a message God wants to teach them there, throughout the night of fishing, Bible says they caught nothing, to show us the futility or the efforts of humanity. Now, what was the ideal, and what was it that they were doing? Were they expected by God to go fishing? These are things we must meditate on.

Jesus asked them: "Children, have you any food since you began?" When some people start out in life, they tell themselves, God is calling them very early in life, but they reject His call for one reason or the other. And because of that, they leave the purpose of God for their lives in search for greener pasture, in search for fame, in search for accomplishment. Even though that looks like a pursuit, it is still a sign of being a babe. If you are growing in the Spirit, there is a state you must be, a state of vulnerability, a state of "without God I am nothing." Even Jesus said "without You (Father) I can do nothing", to show us that when you get to a point of growth in your life, you come to understand how incapable you are as a human and how capable you are as a man, a woman depending on God, that your capacity is not 100% locked in you, but is 100% activated by God in you. And so, when you are a babe, you want to become a self-made woman, a self-made man. You want to be able to boast about all the things that you were able to accomplish by yourself. Therefore, you simply isolate yourself from others, you want to struggle. All that still shows that you are a babe.

But when you get to a point in life, when you are growing, then you are less conscious of individualism, you get to the point of responsibility. Let us see another place in the same John 21, from verse 13 downwards.

13 Jesus then came and took the bread and gave it to them, and likewise the fish. 15 So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” 18 Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish.”

We have read this Scriptures several times but we want to see how God feeds His people in this context. Now they were hungry. And one thing alarming here is that they have toiled everywhere for fish and they could not catch anything. And Bible says when Jesus came into the picture, they caught enough fishes, they prepared the fish and they ate it. So, Bible called what they ate breakfast. So at that point, they had still not eaten in the morning. That is how some people can abandon the purpose of God for their lives, in pursuit of fame, in pursuit of accomplishment everywhere in different sectors; and even though they are busy, they will still have little or nothing to show for it. And when they had eaten, they were satisfied, to show them that Jesus can satisfy them, feed and even supply their needs. And Jesus, wanting to pass the message across said to them; "when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish.”

So we can see two things: When you are young, you go to where you wish, you do what you wish. When you are old, you do what you do not wish; you go to where you don't wish. So the question is; what among the two shows the sign of children and adulthood? A child wants to go to a place a child wishes, wants to play the kind of play the child wishes. A child is all about her wish or his wish. But an adult have come to understand that it is not as I will, but your will be done. And that is important because it is an indicator of your spiritual growth. Are you somebody who is given to your own wish or you are given to the wish of God, in spite of your wish?

Jesus said though I wish this cup can pass over me, nevertheless, not as I wish, not as I want. There is a difference between your wish, which is also your want, and your demand, things that you deserve, the things that you really need. Of course, you could wish something and you don't need it. Children will always go for what they wish. Now what we will see in you, that we will begin to understand that you are growing as a woman or as the man, is that you are no longer doing what you wish, you are doing what you must do. And that is important for us to know. Let us see the third one and then we will conclude.

The third strategic indicator of your spiritual growth is: HOW GOD REBUKES YOU! We have seen how God leads you as an indicator of your spiritual growth, and then we have seen how God feeds you. God is able to feed you, and you must not forget. Both of them can still be fed. One is fed only what he wishes, they wanted fish and they ate it. But you could also be fed what you don't wish. And your growth is what will determine your degree of acceptance of what you receive from the Lord. When people complain to God, it is not because God does nothing to them. When people are grumbling to God, it is not because God has never been good to them. They just have issues with the kind of goodness of God in their lives. When people complain about their marriage, it is not because God has not given them husbands or wives, they only have issues with who God has given to them. They wish it is someone else. That also shows that you are currently at a babe level in your spiritual growth in your marriage.

#3. HOW GOD REBUKES

Let us go to Jeremiah 6:16-21. I am sure we will realize that God is showing us these points from verses that we are familiar with. The Bible says:

Thus says the Lord:

“Stand in the ways and see,
And ask for the old paths, where the good way is,
And walk in it;
Then you will find rest for your souls.
But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’
17 Also, I set watchmen over you, saying,
‘Listen to the sound of the trumpet!’
But they said, ‘We will not listen.’
18 Therefore hear, you nations,
And know, O congregation, what is among them.
19 Hear, O earth!
Behold, I will certainly bring calamity on this people—
The fruit of their thoughts,
Because they have not heeded My words
Nor My law, but rejected it.
20 For what purpose to Me
Comes frankincense from Sheba,
And sweet cane from a far country?
Your burnt offerings are not acceptable,
Nor your sacrifices sweet to Me.”

21 Therefore thus says the Lord:

“Behold, I will lay stumbling blocks before this people,
And the fathers and the sons together shall fall on them.
The neighbor and his friend shall perish.”

Now, the words we are hearing, they are not palatable words. But these are words spoken to rebellious children. These people were not other people's children; they were simply God's children. However, they were rebuked by God through calamity. One thing I observed is whether God rebukes a people with famine, sword, pestilence, et cetera, it is all painful. Whether one is behaving, and God had to kill his wife or his children for them to realize, that is still painful. Do we understand? What is God trying to do? God is trying to rebuke. But that is not the only way God can rebuke. I want us to see that while God can rebuke a people or His children with pain, when God wants to rebuke His sons, it is with a different means. And that is what we want to see. Let us see Psalms 51:9-11.

Whether we are growing or nor growing, we can know by the kind of rebuke we receive from God.

Hide Your face from my sins,
And blot out all my iniquities.

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me away from Your presence,
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.

See the issue at hand! King David considered that he sinned against God. He was not afraid of pain. The matter here was not a physical pain. So, I don't know if we are seen it. Now a man sinned and he said "God, create in me a clean heart, renew a steadfast spirit within me, please don't cast me away from your presence, and don't take your Holy Spirit from me." So, there is a spiritual rebuke that God gives to His sons, whereas, He has a physical rebuke for the children. Now don't forget that when they were children, He led them through the pillar of fire in the night and the pillar of cloud in the day. So, they were led by the things they could see.

So, the only time they could know that God is leading them is when they see things with their physical eyes. Now these children too, when they go wrong; the only way they can know that God was angry with them is when they see something physical in their midst or lives. When they have a situation when their car has get involved in accident, some people will never know that they are wrong until they have hit their legs against a stone. Until there is a physical pain in their lives, they do not begin to take dressing, they do not take correction, until something visible, something physical has happened to them, they don't know what to do. You will hear some people say "God has called me into ministry, I tried to look for jobs everywhere; all the attempt have failed. I tried to invest in several businesses, all the attempt have failed. But now I want to listen to what God has to say to me." Now, is that the right way to be led by God? Is that the right way to be warned or rebuked by God? Do you want to lose everything to know what God is telling you? Are you going to wait for the day your building suddenly collapses before you know what to do?

Children wait until they see something physically harmful around them before they know they had done something bad. Now, go and do experiment. But are we also children? God is warning us and we are doing as if we are not listening or hearing. And then something bad happens, and we begin to cry to God for forgiveness. Are you going to build your life around that and you still think you are growing man of God, a man who will wait for dangerous things to happen in his ministry before he knows that something is wrong with the ministry. And for children, they will wait for physical signs, physical things. Sons don't wait for physical things. Pain had not began when David began to say "Lord, don't take your Holy Spirit from me, taking your Holy Spirit from me is a punishment alone."

"Lord, so that I will know the fellowship of the Holy Spirit more proper the next time, create in me a new heart, so that I will not send the Holy Spirit out with my attitude." Some people will lose their job before they get correction. Some people, to lose the presence of the Holy Spirit is enough, and that shows spiritual growth. Let us quickly concludes with Psalms 32:8-9. The Bible says:

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;

The question is, if you do not go in the way that you should go; are you not being rebellious? If you have been taught what you should do, and you are not doing it, you are simply being rebellious. God says:

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;

I will guide you with My eye.

See the issue now:

9 Do not be like the horse or like the mule,
Which have no understanding,
Which must be harnessed with bit and bridle,
Else they will not come near you.

For Horses to know what to do, they must be beaten. Are you like that? How can you claim that you are growing in the Spirit when in reality, you are displaying lack of understanding? The Bible says don't be like the Mule and the Horses who have no understanding. They must be beaten before they comply. They must be beaten for them to know when to stop and when to move. There is a kind of beating they receive, they know what to do. In fact, they get messages from beating. Don't be a man of God whose ministry is patterned after your own beatings. So it is when your marriage fails that you will now write a new book on "how to be happily married." It is when your ministry fails that you will now begin to write books on how to have the right ministry.

Is it until bad things happen around your life before you gain wisdom and understanding? Your understanding should not be after you have failed, and you have made mistakes, and made a shame of God's name, that should not be a correct understanding. If you have understanding, you don't need to make some errors. But certain people reject understanding, rejects the teachings of God, and will fail, and misbehave and mess up the name of God, and now want to start a ministry or a business around their failure. As fantastic as that sounds, it looks like being like a mule or like a horse. Don't until everything in your life crash before you now start a consulting business around your own crash. You can't be a man or a woman of understanding, when God says "walk in the way", don't be rebellious. When God is speaking to you, hearken to His voice and listen to His instructions. That is the only way to prove your understanding and to make sure that you do not get into trouble, you do not fall into calamity.

God does not have to be chasing you here and there with punishment before you know that you have wronged God. Just "my Son, where are you" should be enough. Adam said "I heard your voice, and I was afraid." Is the voice of God scaring you or you are scared only when everything around you collapses, when you are hearing Covid-19. That is a physical thing. God should not rebuke you with Covid-19. When people are committing fornication and adultery, God should not rebuke them with HIV and AIDs, God should rebuke them with a word. Let us not become like mules and horses that have no understanding, which must be beating and battered before we realize. Let us gain wisdom from the leadership of the Holy Spirit in our lives, let us submit to the leadership, to the Lordship of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Allow God to reach out to you, reach out to your ministry, and reach out to your marriage through Jesus. Don't continue to rely on the leadership that you were enjoying in the past. They have helped you till now, but they cannot help you into your destiny. The prophets have spoken your release from bondage, but you need Jesus to lead you into your inheritance. Revelations 5:12 says "Worthy is the lamb that was slain to receive power, riches, glory, honor, strength, blessing and wisdom." No prophet was slain for you. He was slain to receive them so that you can have it. Now that a prophet have brought you out of sin, out of ignorance; you need Jesus to disciple you into your inheritance and that is why you must follow Him. Allow the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit to lead you, for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

I believe you have been blessed! Amen!

Word of Confession: (Optional)

Lord Jesus, I confess to you that I have sinned against the LORD God - in the rebellion of my heart, I have disappointed your expectations on my life. I have fallen from Your grace and followed wrong influences around me. Today, I retrace my steps back to you - and I ask that in your mercy you accept me as your son and give to me (again) the promise of the Father - the Holy Spirit. Lord Jesus, please, come and make my heart your home, and from there rule in the affairs of all men. In Jesus Name I have prayed.
