The life of Father Abraham is a mirror for anyone who desires to walk with GOD intimately to see the sincerity that is in God.

GOD called Abraham when he was about 75 years of age — (naturally), but after the call of Abraham, there was a need for Him to grow in the knowledge of God (spiritually), God was not concerned about the age of his body so that He should be in a hurry.

One thing cut my attention the most in the whole life story of father Abraham, the man of Faith, and I want us to share.

See what the Bible says in Genesis chapter 17 verses 1 and 2:

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless. And I will make My covenant between Me and you and will multiply you exceedingly.

GOD is so amazing, I can't just stop wondering, how could GOD still find a use in a man that had gone passed the age of economic menopause (activeness), and placed a proposal of eternal relationship before him as if the man was just born yesterday? Of what relevance is a man at the age of 99, how much can he still go? But do you know what, God wasn't considering that as a limitation at all?

Of course, men could think the pages of their life were almost over or closed at that age, but He who is responsible for closing the pages of men's life didn't see his life coming to a close. He still had more than the age he was when the Lord called him to live at that phase of his life. He distributes ages of life to men according to His wisdom and power —the principle of the span of life is not first to be born first to die in the agenda of GOD.

Praise the Lord!

Our God does not see the way men see; He does not count situations the way men do. Hagar called Him, "The God who sees". (See Genesis 16:13.)

He sees you too. None of your affairs is hiding from Him. There is no drop of your tears that is not numbered before Him. It is not over with you until He said so. Only if you can trust Him enough that He also knows beyond your fears, and see you more than you know yourself, then be assured of this one thing, it is not over until He who is the Commander of the universe says it is over with you. Never give up on God, never give up on yourself because someone has given up on you, life is not by what men say, it is according to His design — what GOD says.
