The sin of fornication is like falling into a known or an unknown deep pit. Many a time, it is hard to tell or predict all that awaits the victim down in the pit. Sometimes, the unknown consequences are more than what initial predictions might be. One could be wounded which either could be fatal or minor. At the extreme, the victim could as well lose his or her life for it. It is better not to have done it (fallen into the pit) than to look for a ladder that you may use out of the pit.
"The Philistines took hold of him and cut out his eyes. They brought him down to Gaza and tied him with brass chains. Samson was made to grind grain in the prison" (Judges 16:21).
No matter how inevitable the condition facing a man, a course for which a man might lose both his eyes should weigh more or be able to yield more for the man far beyond the value of his two God-given eyes. I am yet to see what on earth could be worth more than the eyes of a young vibrant man. Men on a ground of greed for money might trade anything in exchange for anything, but trading one's eyes for anything is of the extreme and a big act of foolishness for any normal human being. But it happened to Samson on the account of falling for the sin of fornication. What tears after pleasure?
The two eyes went for it just for that brief pleasure, just for a night round. Didn't it worth it? Your life is too precious to end as quietly as it happened to Samson. Never permits the enemy to win the battle. You are not cheap goods; you are precious to the Highest. By bargain, unknown to Samson, he needed and demanded sexual pleasure but his enemies, the philistines needed his two eyes, the light of his body for payback. What a tragedy — a deadly and loss game? The purpose of his birth was cut short; it was a game of no profit.
But is there anything, a reward you think is worth exchanging for enjoying sexual pleasure against the Divine principle and rule of God; sexual pleasure is meant and commanded between a man and his wife only as ordained by God? When you do otherwise, you are allowing the Devil to cut short your destiny and mission to the earth prematurely as he did to the glory of Samson.
When a man decides to venture into this pit, he may as well know or be sure of what to gain but will never be able to tell what he or she will lose thereafter. The price or consideration the enemy, the Devil will demand or take from the victim's life is far beyond the physical money or gift that exchanges hands between the two parties. Just like the enemies of Samson didn't mention the consequences to him never think you could just pay money or give out something at least, to do it and get away. NO! IF YOU FALL FOR IT, YOU WILL CERTAINLY PAY BEYOND THAT, BE CAREFUL, DON'T DO IT.
