"...and let Us create man in Our image [form — Spirit] and according to our likeness ( behaviour and potentials) and let them have dominion..." (Genesis 1:26).

The Psalmist also added in Psalm chapter 8 verse 5 saying, “Yet You have made him [man] a little lower than God [Yourself], and You have crowned him with glory and honour.”

If the 24 elders before the throne of GOD are not men, it then means in hierarchy and order of superiority in Divine lineage or order of life, man is next after GOD (Christ Jesus). The Devil is not our mate at all. Stop being apologetic everywhere and before the Devil.

"Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you" (Jas 4:7 NKJV).

If you are in Christ Jesus, please, know this: anywhere you meet the Devil whether in the car, on the sea or in the sea, under the ocean, in the night, in the daytime, in the bush or on top of the roof, in the air, or on land, the Devil has no lawful right to torment you, afflict you, or hold you to ransom. Cast him out, make his life miserable for what he did to man even if he didn't look for your trouble.

Our duty is not to negotiate conditions of peace with the Devil, but to make life miserable for him for interfering in the affairs between GOD and man — man and his Father (Creator).

When you do this, you are giving the whole assembly of GOD in Heaven a great joy, for so the Lord delights that it should be done to him that defiled himself with pride and arrogance — devil, the man of sin. Never negotiate peace with the Devil and its idolatrous altars, be violent with them. To resist is not a peace mission, resistance is potential violence. Don't be surprised when it surfaces, just do your God-given assignment. Cast him out and make life miserable for him and his descendants. (See Mark 16:17.)
