The same Gospel but different styles, then what do you expect, the same result, right? No, you can't cheat nature; the results won't be the same. Original and fake might come from the same factory, but time will prove their differences.
Could this be the reason for the weaknesses of the Gospel in our days? The Gospel has never been weak in any generation like we see today.
It was said of them, " But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some brethren to the rulers of the city, crying out, “These who have turned the world upside down have come here too” (Acts 17:6).
They didn't achieve such a result because they were the most qualified, of course, they were the most unqualified. Their success was based on the Truth that, they were turned upside down: they were able to turn the world upside down because they allowed the self inside them to be turned upside down. Except transformation begins with us, we can't make it happen. We have to allow Jesus to rule our life and choices first, for us to picture Him in the world currently.
See what the Bible says in Ephesians chapter 4 from verses 11 to 15:
And He gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the [e]edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ.
The new man (Life) in Christ Jesus is never automatic for anyone, like an eagle learn from its parent to live as an eagle, a believer must learn Jesus Christ (the New Life) to live like Jesus. He is life, He is not a theory; He is a person, not a space or an assumption. Our Salvation is a gift of Grace, but manifesting the power of the Gospel and enjoying the victory that's in the New Man is a function of spiritual growth. If at the end of our lives on the earth, we fail to manifest this life just like Christ did, let no man or woman thinks it is because our name is not Jesus, it is the fault of our growth. The life of Christ and His life in us as a people born by the same Spirit of Christ and the Father is the same, the result is the same, and the testimony is common to all and in all. We must give ourselves to learning Jesus Christ daily so he can produce the works of Jesus.
We want Glory and power, but we are not willing to pay the price. We want the Gospel of butter and bread: the easygoing gospel — the fake; the Gospel without the cross. They turned the world upside down, but we are currently turning the world upside up to enjoy, wine, and dine with the world.
We have forsaken the warning of our GOD: "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him" (I John 2:15, NKJV).
We have become compromisers. We have corrupted ourselves with the delicacies of the world, yet we wished to obtain His promises as if we have obeyed His principles of life. Surely, God can't be mocked, whatever a people sow, that is what they shall reap. We can't fake it; our desires and longings have given us away.
He that will come will come. Awake from slumber less He comes when you are asleep. If we miss heaven, hell will not listen to any of our excuses.
The image of this piece shows how the prophet Isaiah was killed. He was sowed into two halves. What sacrifice have you made or are you ready to make for the Gospel to reach others, the kingdom of GOD, can your pleasure and appetite for the things of the world go for it? Think about it.
