One reason that is not in the reasons God created man is that man was not created to argue with God, but to trust Him and obey Him in all things. another truth you and I must never joke with is that for every man in marriage, God has given every man his wife to be with him on the ground of trust — marriage is first of all a relationship of trust between man and God, and between a man and his wife. To disrespect and ill-treat, mistreat or abuse, your spouse is a betrayal of the trust that the Lord God has bestowed upon you.  If you know these, you will enjoy all-around success in relationships and marriage. (Read Proverbs 18:22.)

 

When your wife is not doing anything right or to taste, you are the one that is not doing it right. If you beat her, you beat yourself. If you slap her, you slap yourself. If you call her names; a Fool, an Idiot or stupid, you just described yourself — An unfaithful servant, untrustworthy. If you humbly and honourably correct her, you’ve corrected yourself.

 

“With the rib taken from the human [man], the LORD God fashioned a woman and brought her to the Man. The human said, "This one finally is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. She will be called a woman because from a man she was taken" (Genesis 2:22-23 CEB).

 

The world is ignorant of this, but you are not. It then means when you act like them, the people of the world, you will be beaten with more strips than them. God will not justify them because of their ignorance, even for them to accept to be convenient in their ignorance, treating women according to the details of their desires, they are already condemned. But the Lord Jesus doesn’t wish us to be condemned along with the world, hence we must arise to our responsibility, be remorseful of our past mistakes against women, and repent.

 

Your wife is your flesh and bone. You are the one in your wife. God made her suitably and uniquely to conform to you. Your foolish wife as you call her is your foolish you in her. Your wise wife is the wise you in your woman.

Of course, who you are is who your wife is. Who she is, is who you are. What you call her is whom God calls you.

 

There is none of the electric appliances that we use, that function to our taste, in our homes and offices that is well-built like a man is perfectly built by the Lord God.

 

No man is a misfit. Man is a product of God's fashion plan. The potential in man is meant to make every man succeed like God. If you are not succeeding in what you must do, or what God wants you to do, it is not because God carried out an imperfect work on you, but that you have failed to function according to design. You left your duties as a leader, teacher, counsellor, mentor... to another person or school or religious organization or society to do for you.

 

You are not meant for a fun show, you are for responsibility, you are for function. You are not just a figurehead being, you are a leader, a mentor, and a pastor to your wife and kids...

 

You are divinely designed to man (be in charge of) the earth and all that is on earth on behalf of God; to tend and keep it. You are held responsible for anything that refuses to work well.  You are to man the earth and all the activities on earth. You are meant to assign roles, guide, motivate, and make your wife discharge her responsibilities according to who she must be in line with divine purpose. May we never fail the Lord, because if we fail our responsibility, the earth will fail the Lord, and in turn fail us. But as you desire to obey God in His role for your life according to the will of His heart, may grace ever be sufficient to you in Jesus’ name.
