When GOD has an agenda to do on the earth, no man or woman can have it done on His behalf regardless of how critical and urgent it is or needed, we can never run the agenda of God on the provision of the FLESH — our ways. GOD will dismantle it once He notices the hand of the FLESH, unregenerate finger, around His project and agenda.

The Bible says, "Those that are in the FLESH can't please God". God is not joking about it, because the FLESH is not subject to the law of God, it always insists on its ways, and clamours for its glory.

There was an unusual experience that Mary, the mother of our Lord in the other birth, had that’s key for us to learn from. The question she asked the angel in the process of the experience is something critical if we are very careful to lay our hands around it, and ask the Lord to help us see into the depth or beyond the human language that she used to communicate it. We will realize that God has not called any of us to bring our muscles and belongings to come and help His work to succeed.

And Mary asked the angel, “How can this be since I do not know a man?” according to the Gospel of Luke chapter 1 verse 34.

Maybe we should take more details of the conversation for us to get where this comment or question is coming from.

But don't forget this one thing, once the matter that is on the table is about God and His agenda, it is sufficient and safer for us to understand that God is only asking us to come, calling us for partnership, but not to come with our tools to run the job for Him according to our know-how and expertise.

When a man wants a builder or building engineer to build him a new apartment or house, no matter how rich the man who needs a new building is, it is not a requirement for him because he wants a builder to build for him to go and start buying building tools for the building engineer, no, the builder already have his tools, that is what made him a house engineer apart from the skill or academic qualifications.

So, upon an invitation to an engineer to come and build at any preferred location, he is required, all things being equal, to come along with his tools and technical know-how to bear upon the job. But when we come to doing service for God, the King of kings, the Almighty, serving Him requires that the servant depends on Him absolutely for supply and enablement.

Let's see what played out in the experience of Sister Mary that made the birth of Jesus a reality for our redemption to be possible in Him.

And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favoured one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!” But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favour with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Highest, and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom, there will be no end.” Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be since I do not know a man?” And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God. Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren. For with God nothing will be impossible.” Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her. (Luke 1:28-38 NKJV.)

This is wonderful right? Sir/Ma, as amazing as this could look to sister Mary on her day of visitation that's the spiritual order of things in the Kingdom of God, the standard for true divine service. It was not changed for Jesus, it was not changed for the apostle of the Lamb, and it wouldn’t be changed for us. If anything we come to do for God in Christ Jesus, or we will ever do upon the earth must be accepted by the Father, it must align with this order, it must be done in partnership with the Holy Spirit.

God was aware that Mary was in courtship with the young man named Joseph, it was not as if Mary was blank relationship-wise, no, she was not. She was already in a courtship that would materialize into a lovely home. So, she didn't come empty, but the order of God in having things done on the earth is not based on what either you or I have to present, God Himself must be partnered with in our readiness to propagate God upon the earth.

"How can this THING be?" The ideal answer anyone would have expected for Mary could have been that ‘as soon as you are married, your marriage rite is done, and the first child is the one that will fulfil this prophecy, but no, that is not the order. The order must align with the spiritual partnership.

"And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you [partner with you], and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God."

Friend, could there be any way you have been struggling with serving God in your life, you are up and down, seeking what you can offer to GOD so you could be acceptable and pleasing to Him, or so you can win His favour?

Or you have been called my God and all you do is to take it upon yourself to seek resources to do God's work or service, some people even go as far as borrowing to do the work of God, or give to GOD, that is another order; such is not acceptable in the kingdom order, it is not rewarding in the service we have come to share in Christ Jesus. Except we have come to partner with the Holy Spirit and completely submit to His wisdom, power, and resources, we could only struggle and want to serve God, but all will just be the FLESH, it will profit God nothing, and there won't be any eternal reward in whatever we can accomplish.

When Jesus was talking in the Book of John chapter 15 verses 5c about the partnership of the Spirit, He was not referring to His bodily presence. See what Jesus said, "I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me], you can do nothing" (AMPC).

King James Version says, “I am the vine...for without Me you can do nothing."

Jesus was not talking about His bodily presence with us rather He was talking about our fellowship with the Spirit, His Spirit — the Holy Spirit.

Without the spiritual partnership with the Holy Spirit, no matter what we are, our theological knowledge, financial status, material fame, and people resources, we can do nothing; we are of no relevance to Kingdom use. The kingdom of God and His Christ is not a kingdom that the FLESH has anything to offer. The human architecture — know-how — is useless and unprofitable in all its glory and training and year of experience.

We are called unto spiritual union. We are called unto the fellowship of the Spirit. Except we are in the known of the Will of the Spirit, what can we do that can ever match up? Whatever we do is just stressing the body to no benefit. If our daily living must be such that our Father will be glorified, then it must be Spirit-led, motivated, and influenced. The FLESH has no gain, no share, and no contribution to the kingdom of God. Be given to the Spirit will and abide in a total communion of the Spirit to be able to profit the kingdom of God.
