Have you ever taken a deep breath to think why we have so many failed leaders, kings, ministers, presidents, governors, teachers, senators, pastors, businessmen and women, husbands - as heads and family leaders, wives - as caregivers, counsellors, planners, tailors - who liar at the frequency of water... in our world today?
What is the strength of a man that he might succeed on his own, is his breath not like the breeze, and his strength not as feeble as the vapour?
The world, our earth, is filled with men who want to become leaders over men while God is not a Leader in their lives. They failed to know who God must be to them. They have failed to submit to God, to first be led by God, that they may (obtain permission) in turn lead others. They want to be independent of God and wish to be accorded glory and honour. And King Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, "Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and the honour of my majesty?"
The Bible says, while the words were still in his mouth, the Lord was wrath with him and judgment was passed on him immediately — he was driven from among men and deed ate grass like a wild beast.
The world is shocked by ministers and leaders of different spheres of life who have failed to submit to God to first be ministered to or led, to obtain help from God before trying to help solve others’ problems or minister to others.
Men love to become successful husbands, who are yet to recognize God, the Lord of lords, as heads over their lives but want to assume or begin to lead or reign as heads over women and their children. They wish to be to others what God has not been to them. They want to play a role in others, perhaps, the role the Lord has not assumed or presided over their lives. No wonder the rate of divorce is so high in our generation, and our modern children are so ill-mannered. Some children oftentimes donate parents for money rituals; they seem to see nothing wrong with it.
“Now I want you to understand that Christ has authority over every man. Christ is like the man's head. Also, the man is the head of the woman and God is the head of Christ” (1 Cor. 11:3).
We must not stop at knowing that this particular passage is written in our Bible, we must live it out as a reality. To be in authority, we must first recognize the authority over our own lives. His authority is what gives birth, life, to our own authority — both physically and spiritually. He is to us the wisdom and path to our success in life. None of us can source wisdom within ourselves to be able to overcome the challenges on our path to destiny. He is our life, wisdom and all-sufficiency.
Wives fail in their noble duties as caregivers, help meet, because they have refused to, first of all, submit to God, the Master Caregiver, to obtain care and help from the hand of God before replicating it to their husbands and family members. They love to help others with what they have not been helped with. It will fail. You can only be fit to care for others when you have been helped by the Lord.
We must take our time to learn from the attitude or approach of Jesus Christ to life, if we, you and I, must succeed for God as God's authority, power, dominion, and influence in the midst of the world.
So, Jesus said, “I speak to you, timeless truth. The Son is not able to do anything from Himself or through His initiative. I only do the works that I see the Father doing, for the Son does the same works as his Father. “Because the Father loves his Son so much, He always reveals to Me everything that he is about to do. And you will all be amazed when he shows me even greater works than what you’ve seen so far! (See John 5:19-20 TPT.)
You also should consider it, reason it upon your bed, if Jesus Christ who has the Spirit of God, the Grace of God, without measure will still have to wait on God, receive from God, before giving to men or helping men, how much more you and I that has the Spirit of God, God's Grace, to a measure, according to the degree of His gift, assignment?
Do you want to be a teacher of men, a fisher of men, a leader of men or to men, a husband - a head and a leader and prophet over a woman and your children?
Do you want to be a virtuous woman who will succeed in her duty as a graced caregiver in her home? Do you want to succeed as a minister or businessman or woman? What is it you love to do; do you love to...?
Allow Jesus Christ to first teach you, allow the Holy Spirit to first mentor you. Allow God to first teach you, reign over your own life; extend His care and help to you first. Let God rule over your own life first. Let Him exercise His Lordship from heaven over your life first so you can in turn rule, reign, and lead under Him on earth. Allow Him to raise you first before you talk about replicating the same life that you have mastered under God to others... Do this and you will never err.
