The greatest gift anyone will receive on the face of the earth is to receive the Mercy of GOD. If GOD shows a man or woman mercy, Sir/Ma, you have become royalty, a special breed, a peculiar creation, raised far above an ordinary person. See, it is not based on financial ability, intelligence, or competence, it is out of His wisdom, ordination, and benevolence as a Father. The loving heart of GOD can't be paid for, it comes to us at no cost, so priceless that if we ever annul it, it is not in our power to undo or remake it. It is just like when salt has lost its taste, no matter what we do to it, it can't regain back its lost glory — taste.
Have you not read the declaration of GOD concerning His mercy when He said, " What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? Certainly not! 15 For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.” 16 So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy. (Romans 9:14—16.)
Imagine if GOD has not accounted you for Mercy, what would you have done, would you have begged Him to do it to consider you for His Mercy? They are many who wished and could have paid anything to have the Mercy of God, but it is very unfortunate, it is not for sale, it is not according to the person of person, it is an act of Divine Love.
Think and see, you are not the most pious man or woman that you know, but how come you are the one He has chosen to show His Mercy? We have not received Mercy because of who we are, if we don't place value on it, we could become careless and lose it or throw it away like Esau who didn't know His Mercy to be made the firstborn. He was ignorant, and he sold his mercy for a plate of food. (Read 25:29—34.)
In Jonah chapter 2 verses 8, see what the Bible says, “Those who regard worthless idols [loving the world and the things of this world]
Forsake their own Mercy.”
Some countless men and women fell from the pedestal of mercy in the Bible who could not receive mercy to reconnect back to Mercy again all through their lifetimes. There is nothing as wasteful as living life on the face of the earth under a zero-degree mercy
When Cain lost his mercy, he couldn't restore it. When king Saul, the house of Eli, Judas Iscariot, Ananias and Sapphira his wife, and a host of others, when suffering the loss of their mercy, they could not undo them — they could not receive another round of Mercy to reconnect back to their mercy.
While others like Samson in the Book of Judges and Jonah in the Book of Jonah, these men sought it back with tears, they cried out and the Lord, out of the sure Mercy of GOD, they were reignited and connected back to their mercies. Should you have lost your Mercy too, your joy of salvation, please, don't say it doesn't matter, it matters. Return to the Lord for He is full of Mercies and He will abundantly pardon. Be intentional and cry without a sense of shame, until you are restored to your Mercy, life is useless when lived outside of God's mercies, it will profit you nothing.
You are saved today out of His love and Mercy, hold your gift with your two hands. Never cheap-value your Mercy because of the race of life: the pleasure of life, patience of life, or the pressure of life. If you lose your Mercy, you will lose your value, your eternal value that has been bestowed on you by GOD. No material item of the earth is worth losing your Mercy for, it is the greatest gift you have: the heart of GOD for His children. It is a privilege, please, treasure it above all things; the benevolence of GOD towards you — He has beloved you in Christ Jesus eternally. His mercy is priceless.
#Hallelujah
